Andrew & Debra are hopeful adoptive parents from New York waiting to adopt a baby.

Dear Birthmother, Thank you for taking the time to read about us. We had our first date on New Years Day 2004 after meeting on the internet. We had so much in common -- traveling, going to shows and concerts, playing golf, and challenging each other to Scrabble games, to name just a few. Two years later, we were married.

In November 2007, we hit the jackpot on the internet again --- we adopted a sweet and beautiful baby girl whose birthmother saw our profile. Every moment with our daughter has been a dream come true. The joy we feel being parents can only be compounded with another child, and we recently purchased a new home with plenty of room to grow our family!

About Debra Debra has always loved children. She volunteered at a group home for teenage girls in college and was a big sister for a local high school while attending law school. Although she having the time of her life being a mom, she remains active in the lives of her nephews and her friends' children. She often babysits for her best friend's twin daughters. Debra likes to garden, work on household projects, bike, jog and read. She is an active volunteer in various charities. Debra is 5' 4" and has brown curly hair and grey eyes.


Debra is very close with her parents, who live in the same town as she and Andrew. Her parents have been happily married for more than 40 years. Her father is a stockbroker. He is an avid gardener in his free time. Her mother "supervises" Dad in the garden, and cooks wonderful meals for the family with the fruits of his labor. Debra has one older brother, a financial analyst. He is married with two boys who are thrilled to have a cousin for the first time and can't wait to have more! Debra's family gets together almost every week, for a meal or shopping or just to hang out.


Debra is a partner in her law firm, allowing her the flexibility to maintain a career, but still be there for the baby.

About Andrew Andrew is 6' 4", and his heart is a big as he is. He is easy going and patient. Even before he had a child of his own, he coached boys' baseball and was a doting uncle to his nieces and nephews. Andrew loves music, golf, baseball and Notre Dame football. Andrew has green eyes.

Andrew is an Engineer for a major television network. He has traveled the world, and earned Emmys for his work.

Andrew is also close with his mother who volunteers her time at a thrift shop. Unfortunately, Andrew's father is deceased. However, he has had two other wonderful men in his life - his older brothers. One brother is married and lives nearby in New York City. He has a beautiful singing voice, and his wife teaches voice. The other brother lives in the next town to Debra and Andrew, with his wife who is a nurse, two daughters who love to visit their cousin, and a son who loves to challenge Andrew to basketball games. Andrew also has two older sisters. One sister is also a nurse and lives in Las Vegas with her two children; the other lives in Georgia with her husband. Although the sisters are spread out geographically, they remain a close-knit and loving family.
