Billy & Margaret are hopeful adoptive parents from Texas waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birth Parents, We want to thank you so very much for your courage and determination to do the very best thing for a new baby coming into the world. Your decision to make the adoption plan expresses how much love you have for your baby. Your strength at this time is amazing. Seeing your hope for the future of your baby brings joy to so many. We are blessed to have found The Gladney Center and hope that you feel the same way.

We are Margaret and Billy and we live in Texas. We were married in the spring of 1998 in the Catholic Church. It was a record heat day and we will never forget having to take outdoor photos in our wedding dress/tuxedo. It was a great day and we were blessed with over 200 people at the wedding. Family and friends from all over the country were able to celebrate with us.
We moved out of state two days after our wedding and it was exhilarating. We had both only lived in one or two places our whole lives and we were both heading to a place that we had both never been. Looking back it was the perfect situation for the both of us. We had to rely on each other to make it. No friends and no family to fall back on. Billy had a good job right away and it took Margaret about 5 months to get into a job she enjoyed. Once Margaret found the perfect job she made many new friends; friends we still have today.

Living so far away was nice for awhile but soon we both wanted to be closer to family. In the winter of 1999 Billy got a job offer back home and we were both ecstatic. Billy moved back right away and within a month Margaret followed. Starting a new job was exciting for Billy. Margaret was accepted and began Physical Therapy School. After two quick years Margaret graduated and began her career as a Physical Therapist. She loves her chosen profession and is still excited to go to work each day. Billy’s job has changed a bit over the years but is still challenging and so very rewarding. We are both very lucky to have professions that we truly care about.
Our journey began in college, has taken us to far away places and brought us back home to the friends and family we grew up with. One thing that we have been trying to achieve in our lives is becoming parents. For whatever reasons beyond our control parenthood has not happened thus far. It was not until recently that we learned of The Gladney Center and feel so very blessed. Children have been a big part in both our families and that is something that we both recognized right away upon meeting each other.

We are now at this stage in our lives and to say that we are ready for children would be an understatement. Our home is and has been ready, our families are ready and we are so very ready to welcome a child into not only this world but into a very loving and supportive family.
Thank you for your courage and know that no matter what, we both wish the very best for you and your future.
