Chad & Laura are hopeful adoptive parents from Minnesota waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthmother Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. This is a very difficult time in your life, and making a decision of this magnitude is not to be taken lightly. We just really want you to learn as much as possible about us so you will feel comfortable in choosing us to adopt your baby.

We have been married for over 5 years and have always dreamed of having children together. Chad knew from an early age that having children naturally would be difficult. We have always felt that adoption was something that we wanted to do when we first got married. Laura has 2 children from a previous marriage. Since both of the girls have lived with us and not their father, Chad has been a huge part of their lives and has helped raise them into responsible young adults. Now that both of the girls have become independent we feel this is the perfect time to start the adoption process. Although we could be described as "middle aged", we feel that this is a strength, not a weakness. We also feel that we are perfect for adoption because Chad was adopted when he was a month old. With his experience of being adopted, he has personal knowledge of how it feels and will be able to guide our child through any questions or concerns they have.

Laura can be described as an honest, caring, and loving person who makes spending time with her family and friends a top priority. She is very intelligent and is able to take on new challenges easier than most people. She has been a paralegal for many years, and recently completed her personal trainer certification. Laura looks forward to starting her own business as a personal trainer due to it's flexible time schedule and how it can be engineered around the needs of a baby. Reading, watching movies, and taking walks with our dogs are among some of Laura's favorite things to do.

Chad is outgoing, energetic, and has a great sense of humor. In addition to spending time with him family, Chad enjoys playing various sports (softball, soccer and bowling). He has been in the software development business for many years and is a successful consultant who has worked for many prestigious companies.

We both have a positive outlook on life, and are very health conscious. We love to go to musicals and try to find a show for the family to enjoy at least once a year. Since most of Laura's relative are out of state, we love to take family trips to visit them-especially since they are in the South and is a nice break from the North.

We have two dogs who are very good with children. Milo is a five year old schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle mix) who is very loving and protective. Zeus is a 3 month old teacup yorkie who has been raised around children since he was first born.

We are currently living in a prominent suburb on a quiet cul-de-sac. We have four bedroom house with a fenced in yard near two parks and good schools.

It takes a very courageous, special woman to love her child as much as you do to consider this future for him/her.
