True Love Our beginnings are firmly rooted in amazing families. We both have wonderful parents and lots of siblings. Our families are both strong, loyal and close-knit. They gave us a foundation of love and support.

We met in college and quickly fell in love. Dating was so fun! We are complete opposites, but that works for us. We balance each other. We dated for almost three years and decided that we didn’t want to live without each other any more. When we announced our engagement, everyone said, "Finally!"

We have been married now for 13 incredible years. During that time, we have had some amazing experiences that have deepened our feelings for one another. We love each other and are happiest when we are together.

OUR FEELINGS ABOUT EACH OTHER

DEAN: Christy is the greatest girl ever. From the day I met her, she was all I thought about. After dating for almost three years, I asked her to marry me. She said “Yes!” and I am so grateful. Christy makes me feel good about myself. Falling in love with Christy was the best thing that ever happened to me. Nothing is better than spending time with her and Olivia. My girls make me happy! I love to hold them, take care of them and be with them. I am a family man through and through.

CHRISTY: I love Dean with my whole heart. He makes me happy and has always been able to make me laugh. One day, he took me to his brother and sister-in-law’s house. I watched him roll around on the floor with his nephews. He played and tickled, then hugged them tight. I could tell he loved his nephews so much. The more I got to know Dean, the more I realized that he had all of the important things that I had been looking for. Dean is the love of my life.

OLIVIA: Olivia is the light of our lives. She is such a funny girl! She tells knock-knock jokes and loves to sing. Olivia is very bright and asks questions all the time. She loves to snuggle-bug and go to gymnastics class. She wakes up with a smile on her face and smiles all day long. Her favorite color is purple and she is into wearing dresses. She is such a beautiful princess!

Our Home Our home was built two years ago in a great neighborhood. It's a perfect place for a family to grow! We have a large backyard, our home is spacious and comfortable.

We live near family and enjoy weekends with them. Since they also have young children, most activities are centered around the kids. We boat in the summer, go to the county fair and pick apples in a local orchard.

We can walk to parks, the swimming pool, library and the schools our children will attend. The suburb we live in offers the best outdoor opportunities with trails, lakes and fishing. A half hour drive puts us in a metro area with all the advantages of theatres, sports, children's museums and zoos.

Thank You Although we are excited for our family to grow, we sympathize with you as you experience this challenging time. It must be difficult making these decisions. We are so grateful that you have chosen adoption as your plan.

Adoption will be an important part of who our children are. As we tell them of their beginnings, it will always be in a positive way. You will be shown respect and love in response to your tremendous love and the sacrifice you made.
