Eddie & Mandy are hopeful adoptive parents from Michigan waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birth Parent,
Eddie and I have been married for 4 years. We are devoted to one another and have the same strong family values. Through the trials we have faced, we have grown closer together. Our greatest desire is to have a child in our home. We both work hard to support and cherish one another.
Adoption is something that we have pondered for a long time. We’ve been unable to have children of our own. Our greatest desire is to be parents. We know that the Lord wants us to grow our family and have felt his hand in our decision to adopt. It is a special privilege to raise and love a child.
We know it must be difficult to choose a family for your child. We appreciate you for your role in bringing this precious spirit child of God to the earth. We know this requires great faith on your part. We thank you for trusting us with this precious gift and great responsibility. You will always be in our prayers and thoughts. With the Lord’s help, we will do all that we can to honor the gift of the child that you have entrusted us with. We are grateful that you have taken the time to read our letter and hope that you will feel the love of God for you at this time in your life. We pray that whatever decision you make, you will be blessed to know that the decision you make is the right one and that you will be supported by those who love you.
With Love,
Eddie & Mandy
Love Story
We have been married for 4 years and delight in the prospect of adding children to our family. We met while Eddie was in his last year of medical school and Mandy was teaching third grade. Mandy was drawn to Eddie because of his charisma and faith. When Eddie met Mandy, he noticed and admired her for her caring nature and her constant desire to help others. After only a few months of dating, we were married. Two single adventurers joining together on a new adventure! Soon afterward, we moved to Washington state for Eddie’s medical training. We now call Michigan home, where Eddie is finishing his training as a pediatric anesthesiologist. We both love working with children. We have a great desire to welcome children into our home and become parents.

I am from a small town in Wyoming and am the oldest of all girls. Growing up was a joy as my sisters were my best friends. We had so much fun together. My family went on many vacations in the mini-van. We definitely enjoy spending time together. My parents taught us the value of hard work and the importance of God in our lives. Although I am far away from my family, I keep in touch often and feel their love and support for me.
I enjoyed school and was high school valedictorian. I enjoyed being involved in many activities including show choir, marching band, jazz band, musical productions, varsity tennis, soccer team, softball, and National Honor Society. I love to learn and continue to find ways to grow.
In college I studied education. After completing a 2-year associate’s degree from Ricks College, I transferred to Utah State University. After attending for a year, I served a mission for my church in Puerto Rico. The mission was a very influential time in my life. I learned more about loving others, myself, and the Lord than I had ever before. These experiences still influence my life today.
Upon returning from my mission, I continued my studies at Utah State. I graduated with a dual-degree in elementary and special education. Teaching has always been a passion of mine- from teaching piano and swimming lessons in high school, to working for Boys and Girls Club, to teaching in public and private schools. I value my associations with young people and enjoy learning from them as they learn from me.
I am a very driven person. My sites have always been set on more education, more opportunities in my career. Since, being married my focus has definitely shifted. I feel overwhelmed with the yearning to be a mother. I want nothing more than to raise children and teach them of their loving Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I look forward to the day when I will be called "mom."

I have been all across the country, literally. I was born in New York. My family moved to Utah when I was two, then to California when I turned 14. My parents emigrated from Taiwan in the early 70’s. As such, I grew up in a home speaking Chinese and English. I am the oldest of three boys. We all took piano lessons, so it seemed like someone was always playing the piano. This was good discipline for three energetic boys. I learned the value of persistence, hard work and commitment from participating in piano recitals and national piano competitions. I was even fortunate enough to perform with a local symphony twice.
My parents have always encouraged me to get the most out my education. During high school, I enjoyed my German, history and science classes. I also participated in many extracurricular activities, such as the school musical and clubs. During my senior year, I served as Senior Class President and also the school mascot. I earned a full ride scholarship to the University of Utah where I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology and Chemistry. During college, I participated on the Ballroom Dance team, did research and took many different classes to round out my education. Some of my more interesting classes included acting, philosophy, skiing and camping classes. I received my Doctor of Medicine degree also from the University of Utah. I am training to become a pediatric anesthesiologist and will be finished in one year!
My parents have also instilled me with a strong desire to do what is right. I can remember my dad always stopping to help people with car problems stranded on the highway. When I was fifteen, I made some friends who were a good examples to me of doing what was right and they invited me to participate in good, wholesome activities. Because of their examples, I started attending church services and was baptized a few months later. Between my first and second year of medical school, I took time off to serve a mission in Texas, where I learned Spanish. It was the best experience of my life. During those two years, I was able to use all my talents and focus them on bringing those people whom I served a knowledge of our Savior Jesus Christ. It was amazing to see the transformation in their lives.
We appreciate you taking the time to view our profile and find out more about us. We want you to find the right family for your child because we hope the best for you and your child. We pray that you will feel guided and find peace in your decision.
