Erik & Kristina are hopeful adoptive parents from Minnesota waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthparents, We are very grateful that you are taking this time to learn about us. This must be such a difficult time in your life. We are impressed with your choice to put your unborn baby first. Placing a baby for adoption is such a selfless act and only a person with a lot of love can do what you are doing. Our son Alex is adopted, and we have a very special place in our hearts for his birth mom. We look forward to a relationship with you as well. We knew early on that having children would not be easy for us. After four years of marriage and many prayers, we decided to start our family through the miracle of adoption. Having our sweet little boy was the best thing that has ever happened to us. We look forward to sharing our love and our lives with another child. We are anxious to get a little brother or sister for Alex. Watching Alex learn and grow continues to be an exciting time in our lives and we are ready to see it all again.

Our Family! ERIK

Erik is a great husband and works hard to take care of us. Erik has his own business and it is very successful. He went to school for aviation and has his private pilot's license. Erik is the youngest of 3 boys. All 3 brothers have a great relationship. They are exactly 1 year and 1 month apart. Erik's oldest brother is married and has 2 kids about Alex's age. Both Erik's brothers and his parents live in Minnesota. His parents and one brother lives about 10 minutes away and his other brother is a little bit farther. It's nice to have family near us, especially on birthdays and holidays. Erik enjoys playing chess, reading, spending time with family and friends, and working on cars.

KRISTINA

Kristina is a stay at home mom and housewife. She loves taking care of Alex and keeping the home a place that is orderly and a place of comfort. She comes from a large family of 7 kids. She has 3 older brothers, 1 older sister, 1 twin sister, 1 little sister, and 25 nieces and nephews. Kristina grew up in Idaho and visits her family as often as she can. She worked as a nanny in Connecticut for a year. She also spent a year and a half in South America on a church mission and is fluent in Spanish. Kristina enjoys scrap booking, playing the piano, reading, drawing, and sewing.

ALEX

Alex is an energetic little boy. He is always on the go. He loves to climb anything. Right now he is trying to climb out of his crib so we are in the middle of moving him to a toddler bed. Alex loves all animals. Our zoo has a big portion of it that is indoor so we try to take Alex to the zoo once a week. His favorite part is the dolphin show. He will imitate what the dolphins are doing. If they are clapping and waving then he will do the same. He also adores his dog Lola. They play together and chase each other around the house. Alex likes to sneak her food when he thinks mom and dad aren't looking.

More About Us! We both love playing all kinds of sports together, especially volleyball, basketball, tennis, and golf. We love the outdoors. We backpack through the Tetons and go rafting down the Snake River every year. We love to hike, bike, fish, boat, snowboard, and snowmobile. This last summer we went boating with some of our friends and helped Alex catch his first fish. What a joy to see the excitement in his eyes. We love walking to the park with Alex and playing with him at the playground. Every year we try to take a trip somewhere together. Sometimes it will be a long weekend just a few hours from home and other times we will fly somewhere fun. We have been to Disneyland, Disney world, Jamaica, and Las Vegas.

Family is very important to us both. We both come from tight knit families and enjoy spending time with all of them. We try to make it to all the birthdays and holidays possible. We seek to teach Alex and our future children how important family is. Friends come and go but families are forever. Another member of our family is our dog Lola. Lola is a pug that we got when she was 6 months old. She is very sweet and good with kids of all ages. She was protective of Alex from the day we brought him home. When Alex cries, Lola will snuggle with him and try to comfort him. They have been great friends from the beginning.
Thank you for taking a few minutes to get to know us. Know that we think of you often and hope that you will find happiness and peace in your life. We truly do admire your strength and courage. We would love the chance to get to know you and for you to know us better.
