Nancy and I spent almost a year and countless thousands of dollars placing Adoption ads in Newspapers across the country...all to no avail not one targeted birthmother gave us a call.
When our Attorney told us about ParentProfiles.com, we figured why not?
While there was a lot of work involved in putting a Profile together, we figured that was probably a good thing. And so Nancy and I assembled the information, photos, memories, letters, etc....that we thought might be compelling to a birthparent.
We received a voicemail on our cell phone in September from birthfather Jeffrey asking us to contact him. We called him back a few minutes after receiving the message and he told us that he and the birthmother had selected us from about 30 other profiles they had researched on ParentProfiles.com to adopt their unborn child.
Four months later, birthmother Joyce delivered a happy, healthy baby boy (6 lbs, 15 oz.) that Nancy and I are adopting.
