Jerry and I just wanted to say a big thank you to Parent Profiles!! We are now parents to the most beautiful little girl. After working with an adoption agency for over a year, we signed up with Parent Profiles. We activated our account on October 23rd, 2007. Our 1st contact came less than 2 weeks later. On November 13th we received an e-mail that would change our lives. Our birthmom and her mom contacted us asking us if we would be interested in working with them to create an adoption plan. We spent the next 3 months e-mailing letters, pictures and making plans. We drove up to Michigan to meet them on January 3rd and had the most wonderful time, sitting for 3 hours just talking, crying, and laughing. On February 14th, 2008 we got the call that Katie Marie was on her way. We jumped in the car and made it to Michigan by 2am. Katie Marie was born at 12:29pm on February 15th. After spending 2 weeks in Michigan to complete paperwork, we are ready to head home and start our new life with our little family. Parent profiles is a great tool to connect families!! For those of you out there still waiting, please believe that there is a baby out there for you!! God has a plan and it will happen!!! It's not always the time frame we want but it will happen!! Thank you to our special birthmom and her family, we love you all so much!!
