We have been on the path to parenthood for two plus years. We were pregnant five times, three ectopic pregnancies and two miscarriages. We also did ivf and several other fertility treatments. We decided to adopt in August 2008. Our profile was activated in early September, 2008. We were contacted by many birth mothers, 24 to be exact. We enjoyed speaking and emailing with each of them and learning their stories. Our hearts were always warmed by the love and attention which went into their decision. We were contacted by our birth mother in late September, and hit it off immediately. We went to meet her and her parents a few weeks later and knew this was our match. Our son was born mid November and we were able to be in the delivery room. What a gift to us!!!! I will never, ever forget watching him take his first breath (cry!!) and will always cherish that memory. He is an absolute joy and will be loved to pieces for the rest of his life. We will highly recommend Parent Profiles, from the date of activation to the point where our son was in our arms was less than three months. Amazing!!!!!
