We are pleased to announce the placement of our new baby daughter Sophie Ray She was born Dec. 3, 2002 and we have been in massive sleep deprivation and total elation ever since. Our birthmother contacted us through our profile on ParentProfiles.com!

She emailed us and we spent about a month or so being daily penpals making sure she was for real and that this is what we all wanted and it has all turned our wonderfully. We live in Northern California and our birth family lives in the Central Valley, a 5 hr driver away. This is a perfect situation for us. Our BM is a wonderful young woman who is living at home and got prenatal care from the start. She is deeply religious and didn't drink or take drugs during her pregnancy. Our girl was born in absolutely great shape 9 lbs 6 oz and 21.5 inches long!
