Our Birthmother Contacted Us Three Months After First Seeing Our
Profile. We want to say thank you for all you have done for us!  We now
have a new baby girl in our family thanks to having our Parent Profile listed on
the ParentProfiles.com website.  Strange as it may seem, our birthmother saw our
Profile on the ParentProfiles.com website six months ago and didn’t contact us until
almost three months later when she finally decided that she would not be able to
keep her baby.  Because of this strange turn of events, we are now in another
state with our two oldest children waiting for permission to leave the state
with our newborn daughter.   Grandma and grandpa are at home with our other
children waiting for us to arrive home with our new little bundle of joy.  What
a great adventure this has been for our entire family.

No one ever told us that a birthmother could have this kind of a "delayed
reaction," but once we had a chance to think about it, it made total sense.  We
think it would be important for all of your adoptive couples to know this when
they first sign up for your services.  We are very glad we were patient and hung
in there, because when this happened to us, we had just about run out of steam
and were seriously thinking about trying something else.  Thank you so much for
providing this low pressure way for adoptive parents and birthparents to get
together.
