We Were At The Birth Of Our New Son, and Were Even Able to Snip the
Cord. Our new son was born a few days late on June 1st. We are naturally
beside ourselves with joy, because we were able to be right there in the
delivery room when he was born, and were even able to snip the cord. His mother
was a real trooper and has been so willing to share every part of this
experience with us. We never dreamed we would be able to share in the birth of
a child in such an up close and personal way, especially one that will be ours
to raise. After all that we have been through over the past twelve years, we
still can’t quite believe that we are finally parents.
We would like to report that our son is very healthy and active and of course,
is absolutely gorgeous. He even has the kind of dark eyes and long eyelashes
that most women would die for. As far as we know, there has never been a more
beautiful child ever born, and the best part is that he is ours. It just takes
our breath away to think about what this means. To put it mildly, we are
ecstatic! (Or couldn’t you tell?)
