Obtaining Permission to Use the Profile Builder Tools

If you would like to evaluate what is involved in building a Parent Profile, you may request a FREE, non-transferable and revocable, limited use license which will allow you to view and use the Profile Builder Tools. To do this, you must complete a simple four-step process in which you will be asked to agree to a series of conditions that will be displayed below for your review.
STEP 1 — Agreement to What Law Will Apply:
In exchange for being allowed to request a FREE, non-transferable and revocable limited use license to view and use the Profile Builder Tools, you must first agree to the following conditions:
Definition of "Released Parties": In connection with your efforts to apply for and be granted the free limited use license described above, whenever the /term "Released Parties"/ is used, it will refer to the following entities: DEVNET, LLC, an Arizona Limited Liability Company (which independently maintains and operates the Profile Builder Tools and the secure and non-public development servers on which information can be entered through the Profile Builder Tools that could ultimately become part of an individualized Parent Profile), Adoption Profiles, L.L.C., an Arizona Limited Liability Company (which operates the ParentProfiles.com website), Adoption Media, L.L.C., an Arizona Limited Liability Company (which operates other independent, adoption-related websites on which advertising and/or promotional materials relating to the ParentProfiles.com website may appear from time to time) and any of the past, present or future affiliates, agents, employees, contractors, members, managers, attorneys, collaborators or owners of these entities.

Release of Liability and Limitation of Damages: As a condition of being allowed to view, download or copy the Eligibility Requirements for the ParentProfiles.com website, or to apply for a free, non-transferable and revocable, limited use license to view and use the Profile Builder Tools, you now unconditionally agree that if any action, or failure to take action, that is allegedly caused by or participated in by any of the Released Parties, ever causes any direct or indirect damage to you or to anyone else legally related to you or claiming rights through you, any liability or responsibility of the Released Parties, if any, will be limited solely to the amounts, if any, which you and/or the injured party or parties have actually paid to any of the Released Parties in connection with any services which you or the injured party or parties have actually contracted with them to use. You hereby forever waive and abandon, for yourself and for anyone claiming rights through you, all other rights, claims or causes of action for any other damages, claims or injuries of every type and description relating to the Released Parties or any of their policies, conduct or websites.

Controlling Law, Jurisdiction and Venue: As a further condition of being allowed to view, download or copy the Eligibility Requirements for the ParentProfiles.com website, or to apply for a free, non-transferable and revocable limited use license to view and use the Profile Builder Tools, you now unconditionally agree that in all claims, disputes, damages, causes of action or other legal matters that in any way relate to the Released Parties, or which arise out of the existence or use of the Profile Builder Tools, or any of the websites or other services that are offered or provided by the Released Parties, or that relate to or arise out of any actions or failures to act on the part of any of the Released Parties, you voluntarily and irrevocably agree that the laws of the state of Arizona, and none other, shall apply, without reference to its conflict of laws provisions, and that sole and exclusive jurisdiction and venue over any related or resulting claims, disputes, damages or causes of action, shall rest exclusively in the Southeast Judicial District of the Superior Court of Maricopa County, Arizona, and you forever waive and abandon every other right or claim relating to jurisdiction, venue or choice of law.

Agreement to Not Share Documents or Information With Others: As a further condition of being allowed to view, download or copy the Eligibility Requirements for the ParentProfiles.com website, you unconditionally agree to not allow anyone else to view, download or copy any portion of the images or content of the version of the Eligibility Requirements, Conditions of Service or any other documents, that you may obtain by your use of this website.

If you do not completely agree to all of the conditions set forth above, you are expressly prohibited from engaging in any of the activities described above, from downloading any documents or from proceeding further with the use of this website or the Profile Builder Tools.

STEP 2 — Acknowledgment of Eligibility Requirements:
Because of the unique needs of the specific type of birth parents that the ParentProfiles.com website is designed to appeal to and assist, all prospective adoptive parents for whom a profile can be activated on the ParentProfiles.com website must satisfy the website—s Eligibility Requirements. Before you spend time using the Profile Builder Tools, you should read the Eligibility Requirements linked to below in order to determine if you will be able to comply.
I have read the Eligibility Requirements for the ParentProfiles.com website, and understand that before I may request to have information that I enter through the Profile Builder Tools on the secure servers of DEVNET, LLC used to create a Parent Profile to be activated on the ParentProfiles.com website, I will need to demonstrate that I satisfy those Eligibility Requirements.
STEP 3 — Agreement to Conditions for Receiving a Limited Use License:
As part of requesting the FREE, non-transferable and revocable limited use license that is described above, you must also agree to the following conditions:
  1. I understand that I am not at this time obligating myself to use the Profile Builder Tools, the content and the other resources that are provided on the secure servers of DEVNET, LLC to assist users in entering information that can ultimately be used to create a Parent Profile, or to pay for any services. I also understand that I am not requesting or obligating DEVNET, LLC or Adoption Profiles, L.L.C. to do anything for me, other than to consider granting me a non-transferable and revocable limited use license to personally view and use the Profile Builder Tools.
  2. I understand that if I am granted the requested limited use license, it may not be used for any purpose other than to jointly create a Parent Profile for myself and my Husband or Wife, in the manner provided in the Eligibility Requirements. I acknowledge that the limited use license does not include the right to copy, download, transmit, share or republish any of the information or materials that I will have access to through the use of my limited use license, nor will I allow others to use this license (or my associated user name or password) in any way, including to view or use any of the resources that I can gain access to through the use of that license.
  3. I also understand that if I am granted the requested limited use license, it will be non-transferable, its use will be a privilege and not a right, and it may be revoked at any time, for any reason or for no reason at all, at the sole discretion of either DEVNET, LLC or Adoption Profiles, L.L.C., and without any prior notice to anyone.
  4. I certify that all information I will provide in my request for and use of this limited use license will be true, correct and complete, and agree that if I obtain or attempt to obtain a license based on information or an intent that is false or misleading, that the obtained license will be void and I will not use it nor allow others to use it in any way.
STEP 4 - Requesting the Free Limited Use License Described Above.
Because you have agreed to be bound by all of the foregoing terms and conditions, you are now eligible to request the free, non-transferable and revocable limited use license that is described above by accurately providing all of the information that is requested in the fields provided below.

Names: Since a limited use license can only be lawfully used by the specific qualifying individuals to whom it is properly granted, if you want to request and use a limited use license you must enter (in the spaces provided below) the first and last names of both members of the married Husband and Wife couple that you are a part of. To obtain or use a limited use license by providing false or misleading information would be illegal.

E-mail:The e-mail address (which is case sensitive) will be used as your contact e-mail address and as your login name on the Profile Builder website. If you are granted a limited use license, this is where your approval notification will be sent.

Password: You must also select and enter a personal password (of your choosing) which will allow you to access the Profile Builder Tools and to restrict public access to any personal information you enter. Your password must be at least 8 characters long and will be case sensitive. It may contain any combination of alpha or numeric characters (excluding &, (space), and #).

Password Hint: This Password Hint may be used later to help you remember your Password.

Activating a License: If you are granted a limited use license, your activation notice will be sent to the email address you provide below. After receiving this email notice you will be provided a link that will allow you to access the Profile Builder Tools in the manner described in that email.
