The Miracle of Adoption
I cant believe how perfectly everything has fallen into place. I am 24, and just landed my dream job in the field I graduated in. I have never pictured myself with children, and my doctor had told me I would have a very hard time conceiving because of irregularities in my cycle. Needless to say pregnancy was the absolute last thing on my mind. All of a sudden I found out I was pregnant with a baby girl, and I was 25 weeks along. Life has great timing!
Everything else in life suddenly fell second to my number one priority: finding deserving parents to give my baby girl the life she deserves. I found parentprofiles.com through a search engine, but honestly it felt strange to pick my child's prospective parents off of a website. It reminded me a little too much of online dating. I found my baby's parents while browsing through the profiles, and for some reason they just felt right. If I could describe every quality that I would pick in an adoptive couple, it would describe them to a T! We began emailing, and then developed a very special relationship. After meeting them in person I knew that they were the ones.
Less than four months later I gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl! The adoptive parents were at the hospital with me along with my friends and family. The moment that I handed her to her parents was the most rewarding and happiest moment of my life. I feel so honored to be the birth-mom of this special baby girl. I have learned and grown so much from this experience that I truly feel like I got more than I gave from the situation. She was destined to be born so that she could better my life and the lives of her parents! I dont believe in fate, but everything just fell into place so perfectly that I feel like this couple was meant to be her parents. We will all be connected for life thanks to the miracle of adoption.
