You played a major role in the creation of your baby. You should play a large role in the baby's first months. More than likely, you will be spending many nights up with your child just as Mom will be. But, what can dad do to stay involved before baby is here? No, we are not talking about prepping the nursery either! There are some excellent ways for you to participate in these exciting months.
Go to the doctor's appointments. Hearing your baby's heart beat and seeing the ultrasound pictures will make it so much more real and personal! You want to know that baby and mom are doing well anyway. And, mom will also want the extra comfort of knowing that you are there as well.There are many more ways in which dad can stay in the picture in those early months of life. The bonding process that happens now will be perfect for what is to come.
