Throughout pregnancy, you will feel many discomforts in the ways of aches and pains. Sore muscles will likely be the most often type of pain. Others that you may have involve cramping or feelings of tightness. You may also feel lower back pain. Most of these are just normal wear and tear on the body though. Other problems such as heart burn and indigestion may also occur. Really, pregnancy can be quite an unsettled time in your body.
As your body expands, it is likely that you will feel pains. Muscles are stretching, skin is too. These things can feel uncomfortable to say the least. You will likely feel much more tired and you will not be able to do as much as you used to. Realize that you are carrying another person inside of you and this is not an easy task for the human body. Not only does it have additional weight to compensate for, but the body also has that heaviness around the middle making it tough on lower backs and hips. But, most of this is quite normal.
What isn't normal is very bad pain. Things that happen suddenly are also not okay. If you are experience pain or aches that you just can't stand, call your doctor immediately. While many of these symptoms are quite normal, others may be a sign of early birth.
Just because it is normal, though, doesn't mean it is any less problematic for you. There are many ways in which you can deal with this type of pain. Here are some helpful pointers.
First of all, anything that is bad should be told to your doctor. Also, symptoms and pains that worsen need to be mentioned as well. Most doctors will ask about these things during exams as well.
In most cases, lessoning your work load on the body can help you to cope with the additional stresses. This can be done by doing less and getting more rest.
Proper posture can help to relieve much backache.
Use pillows to support your lower back and to lift your feet.
Sometimes, a nice hot bath or shower can help to relax muscles as well.
Believe it or not, getting healthy levels of exercise can also help you.
