Steve & Linda
We wanted to let you know that our son Jack was born in February and we are in the process of finalizing the adoption. Our birth mother found us through your website and for this we will be eternally grateful. You have organized your website very well and made the sometimes difficult networking process much easier. We have no doubt that without you Jack would not be our son.
Thank you very more ...
Once you become pregnant, you should prepare yourself for the amount of prenatal visits you will have to schedule over the coming months. Look at the bright side, this can be a great way to get to know each and every person who works in your Ob/Gyn office! All joking aside, prenatal visits are a very important component to a healthy pregnancy and delivery.
The first prenatal visit should be scheduled the very moment you think that you may be pregnant. Once you get your happy news, at each of the upcoming visits, you will be examined by the doctor. Some of the fun things that can happen at these prenatal visits are checking your blood pressure and weight along with checking the placement of your uterus and checking the fetal heartbeat.
A pregnant woman will go through so many of these appointments she may even go through the moves in her sleep! But, these prenatal visits are a great time to get some piece of mind that your baby is developing normally and right on schedule. The visits are also perfect to talk with your physician about any questions or concerns you may have about your pregnancy or the impending delivery of your child.
Not attending such appointments could result in a variety of problems. You may need special care for yourself or your baby, which can only be determined during such prenatal visits. All in all, the bottom line is, to maintain a healthy pregnancy, you also need to have a healthy dose of prenatal visits to ensure a happy outcome for all.
