There's no escaping it now. There's no way of hiding it. Your belly is proclaiming to all around you that you are indeed very pregnant! As you go through late trimester 2 and trimester 3, your growing belly will be of great interest to your medical support team. At each visit you will have the bump measured to check that the appropriate growth has been achieved for the period since it was last measured. This measurement is important as it flags any potential growth problems quickly and an ultrasound test can be used to check the situation should something be amiss.
On a more personal note, a pregnant belly is something which, once hidden as unsightly, is now thought to be a thing of beauty. The obligatory belly photo taken on a basic camera, shared with close friends and then hidden has now evolved to an art form where pregnant women employ professional photographers to take a studio type photo of them to record the pregnancy. These photos capture the serenity of the woman as she gently holds her pregnant belly, thinking of the baby within.
