Zach's first Pinewood Derby as a Cub Scout - March 2007. He was completely surprised that he got 2nd place...his car was a winner! His dad helped him with this one. He loved every minute of it!

Zach is using Shanna's kitchen gear to carefully look at his dig site in our back yard. A future paleontologist? We don't know, but it wouldn't surprise us if he does something with science. The kitchen gear has officially been donated to Zach's

All litters of puppies that come along...Zach is their favorite chew toy. Maybe it's because he is so lively! Looks like the chocolate loves his ears.

We finally got a serious snow storm, winter 2008. One that required a snowblower! And Zach of course wanted to make sure he was on the receiving end of the blower! R. J. and Zach are definitely buddies and we have a live snowman!

R. J. and Zach attended a professional baseball game while we were visiting family in California - they had a terrific time!

Here are R. J., Shanna and Zach at the ocean soaking wet! We had a terrific time. The water was a blast! There were riptides that day, so we were in and out as the lifeguards instructed.

Grandpa Randy has a boat and the grandkids love to ride. Zach is no exception! He is sitting in the front and getting ready to feel the wind in his hair as one of his uncles is behind the boat on a wakeboard.

Zach and R. J. opening up their Christmas presents - new fishing poles! The wrapped box almost drove both of them crazy! They haven't used the poles yet, but it won't be long now.

R. J. is definitely a character! He deliberately went out and picked up this nasty smelling seaweed and put it on himself!
