The family that slides together, stays together

This was taken at the hospital with Lily's birthmother. It was important to us for Lily to have a picture of all of us together so she'll always know where she came from and how loved she is by all of us.

We want our children to lead interesting lives and experience the world. Last year we all went to France - Lily loved the baguettes, but wasn't too excited about the beret we bought her.

There's a park with beach access only 2 miles from our house which means lots of splashing and shell gathering in the summer.

We love to head down to Portland a few times a year - it's a really fun and pretty city with lots to do and see. Here we're checking out the fountain at a weekend craft fair.

We love that Auntie Mary only lives a few minutes away - she's a ton of fun!

Snow is only 45 minutes away, including a great kiddie sled hill. Of course Auntie Lisa is counting the winters until she can teach Lily and her little brother/sister to ski.
