The four of us have been a family for four years. Together we share hopes and dreams, as well as sorrows. With each passing day the love between us grows stronger because we know that we can rely upon each other.

"I love to swing in my backyard," says Addison. Addison spends countless hours swinging, running and playing with his family and friends.

Making cookies can get a little messy! Addison grins about the frosting all over his face.

"This is a blast Dad!" It's Raluca's first time tubing in the Colorado mountains. We flew down the mountainside. We're visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Colorado.

"Hey, you can't get away that fast," Mama says as she gives this wiggly little boy a hug.

Jon and I try not to take ourselves too seriously. Laughter is medicine for the soul. We like to joke around with each other and our kids.

"We love to help Mom make chocolate chip cookies!" says Raluca and Addison as they press chocolate into the cookie dough. Although Addison has a stuffed animal - Cookie Monster from Sesame Street, I think I live with two cookie monsters!

Future musician? "Look Papa, I can play the violin. With your help I can learn many new things," says Addison.

Camping in our tent in Wisconsin...Our kids are too excited to sleep! "We just had smores over a campfire with Grandma, Aunt Laura, Uncle Ryan and my cousin Tristen!"

Spending time with Grandma is special. She takes me to the lake and we put our feet into together.

"I love my Papa." Papa and I spend lots of time together - picking out pumpkins, wrestling, reading, fixing things around the house, playing "capture," and building forts.

"Look Dad! I caught two brook trout!" says Raluca proudly. "Thank you for teaching me how to fish."

The most precious gift you give is your time, to teach, to love, to guide...Papa and Addison camping in Colorado

"Look at this brownie heart that Jon made for me!" After Jon heard that Lisa was having a bad day, he decided to bake me a huge treat.

"I love spending time with Grandma. We talk, play games, go shopping and watch movies together," says Raluca

Words can't express our joy! A special day for us as we dressed in white and became a forever family in the Louisville, Kentucky temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Whatever we strive for in life, it's your support that helps me succeed...Grandma, Jon, Raluca and Addison cheered me on as I ran a half-marathon for the first time.

"I love going every year to the Christmas tree farm and choosing a tree together. It's so much fun to return home to decorate the tree, while we listen to Christmas music and enjoy treat..." Raluca's memories...

"I hope to have a dog someday!" Raluca says. Her dad jokes that she has to get all A's to get a puppy. Raluca may pull it off this year in 7th grade! When she grows up, she hopes to be a veterinarian or teacher.

"Papa, I found a pumpkin for you! It's too heavy though..." says Addison as he runs from pumpkin to pumpkin excitedly.

Mama is reading "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." The kids love to read books before bedtime.

"Thank you for giving me the world to explore..." while hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, Addison spots a huge mushroom!
