Celebrating Claire's birthday at one of our favorite restaurants. Al even had red roses waiting on the table!
Our pugs! We adopted both of them through a rescue group, and they've made our lives better thanks to all of the snorts and kisses and snuggles.
Al & Claire in front of the tree at Claire's parents' house. We go to see them in Florida for Christmas most years, and usually make a stop at Disney while we're there.
Andy & Lucy believe that one of our purposes is to be their "furniture." They are the biggest snugglers we know, and we definitely don't mind.

Claire with mom and brother. We usually work together to pick on Mom, but this time we were just loving on her!
Claire's mom and dad before we all celebrated their 40th anniversary last year. They're still crazy about each other!
Claire at an NBA game. We were having a great time on a trip to Philadelphia.
Al talking to his girls' basketball team. They all want to be babysitters!

Claire is a children's librarian and loves it! This is a wonderful way to spend a work day.
Claire and our niece during our annual gingerbread cookie baking. We laughed and nibbled more than we baked.
Al holding our friend, Oliva. We gladly babysat, so that her parents could have a night out.
Claire's brother and cousins at a family reunion. It feels good to realize that you like to be around you family because they're so much fun.

Al and his mom at our wedding. She passed away two years ago, but we know that she's in heaven doing what she can to find the right baby for us.
We got married in 1996, and it was one of the best days of our lives. We happily included Al's family's love of classic cars.
Claire's dad is a serious guy, but he has a silly streak that our family gets to enjoy. The dogs help bring it out, too!
Al with his dad at the All-Star Game in Detroit. The two of them have been to many baseball games together over Al's lifetime.

We went to New York for an anniversary trip, and had a great time being tourists!
Al is smiling like that because we were at a basketball game at Madison Square in New York City.
I get together with a group of my friends every month for movie night. They're all moms, and I know I can call them for advice and support when I'm a new mom.
