My brother took this picture of us when the three of us and my mom went to my childhood best friend's daughter's birthday party. It was so great to see everyone - they're like our 2nd family.
We vacationed in Southern CA this year, and the zoo was great - we got to see the panda bears, which were really cool.
This is me at the zoo - check out the pretty, cool flowers behind me.
This was taken at a recent family party at Lisa's mom's.
Here's my friend Shannon and I. She and her husband Bryan moved to PA a couple of years ago and we miss seeing them as much as we used to. This picture was taken when the four of us got together at a college town in PA about an hour away from each
Here I am dressed as a goth girl at work for our Halloween party. Everyone cracked up laughing when they saw me!
Evan, my brother's son, loves his uncle Ken - it really shows.
Here we are in Wisconsin again, out to breakfast with my brother.
Here's Ken with his favorite chocolate cake. I got him this for his birthday. Since he's nine years older than I am, I jokingly call him an old man so the cake read, "Happy Birthday old man!" He loved it!
Ken's brother Mike & Mike's wife Alane go away for their anniversary and the boys stay with us for the weekend. When Ken is working , I take the boys on an adventure which they call "Camp Lisa." Here they are in the corn maze at a local farm.
Here are the families at our house for Thanksgiving. Even though our brothers (both named Mike) and their families don't get to see each other often, they get along so well that we've all gone on vacation together!
This is Ken and my brother Mike clowning around a few years ago at Thanksgiving.
Last Thanksgiving both of our brothers and their families came to our house on Thanksgiving. Here are Hilary and Evan, my brother's children, drawing at our kitchen table. We always buy them something creative for them to do when they come to visit
Ken's brother Mike brought their puppy Oscar when they came for Thanksgiving. Hilary loved Oscar - she is an animal-lover.
One of the great things about our home is the yard. Here's Ken, his brother Mike, and Mike's boys Ben and Sam playing ball in the yard on a beautiful fall day. We live in a cul-de-sac so we can play either in the yard or in the street.
Here's Ken with my mom at my mom's house when we were on the way to meet Ken's parents to celebrate my birthday. We celebrate all of our birthdays together every year with a dinner at a nice restaurant.
Ken and I visited the San Francisco Botanical Gardens last summer. Here's Ken in the Japanese gardens, which were beautiful.
Here are my brother's kids climbing on Ken a few years ago - he's like a human jungle gym! They love to get physical with Ken by climbing on him and tickling him.
We love to walk and explore new cities. This picture was taken mid-way up one of the many huge hills we climbed in San Francisco. We could have just hopped on the trolley, but we'd prefer to travel by foot.
Here we are - Lisa and Ken. This picture was taken at a party for Ken's nephew Ben in March. It was a big party with lots of family and friends - we had a great time.
Here are Ken's parents Ruth and Stan at a family party. They've been married for almost 52 years! We threw them a wonderful party for their 50th wedding anniversary. They are wonderful in-laws - I couldn't be luckier.
We have friends who live in California. The first night in San Francisco we were able to meet one couple for dinner. This is Ken and I with his dental school buddy Ken and his wife Danna.
