Our Photo Album
Halle was born at 4 lbs 7 oz. We had to stay in the hospital with her for two weeks until she could gain some weight. It's hard to believe now that she used to be that small.
This was our neighborhood in Arizona before we moved. We have a lot of good memories there because it was the first house we purchased.
Because Easter was so early this year, we had to bundle up for the egg hunt at my parents house. My dad plowed a trail in the snow in the backyard and we just gathered eggs along the trail.
We were goofing off at the Phoenix Zoo. They have a lot of interactive photo opportunities for kids there that we liked to have fun with.

We make pancakes and 'affles with our playdough these days. Any time Halle gets to help in the kitchen, it is mimicked over and over again with her play dough.
This is Halle and her friend, Aedin, who was also adopted. They have a lot of fun together. They are standing in front of a snow bank in the driveway that was taller than they are.
Our hike to Angel's Landing in Zion's National Park. The scenery was beautiful, although only Neal was brave enough to scale the side of the cliff to the very top.
First days we were able to hold Halle at the hospital.

Neal's first fish caught on a fishing trip with the guys in Brenda's family.
We love to go on bike rides together. Halle's squeals of joy as we are riding are simply irresistible.
Gingerbread night with family friends. There was a candy for the house and then a candy to eat. How can you resist so much candy in one place?
This picture was taken on a whitewater rafting trip we took with friends in Arizona.

Our birthdays are in the same week in April so the celebrations are always combined.
Halle always likes to take horsey rides on Daddy.
First days we were able to hold Halle at the hospital.
Halle is enjoying the festivities at our local 4th of July parade.

This was taken on Brenda's trip to Hong Kong. She went with her sister for a week and someday hopes to go back with Neal.
Halle and her cousin, Abbie, are enjoying ice cream cones with Grandpa at a recent family gathering.
Halle always makes sure she has at least one hat on when she goes outside. This is a swing set we inherited with our house, and she loves it.
Halle and Dad are ready for church. Don't they look sharp? Our church that we attend each Sunday is a block away and within walking distance in warm weather.

The guys in Brenda's family like to plan an annual hiking trip that always looks a little more like punishment in the pictures. But who is to argue with tradition? They look a little tired, but I guess they did just climb the mountain behind them.
Halle and Mom went to the zoo and just as the picture was taken, she saw some fish. We like to go to the zoo in the summers. Halle has learned the names of so many animals now.
Slides are Halle's favorite thing to play on. This one is within walking distance from our house, so we come here quite often. It takes her a little bit to get over her fear of heights, but we always leave with tears because she has so much fun.
She turned three this year.
