Sara is a western girl who grew up in a rural area. Shawn is an East Coast boy who grew up in the city.

We are teachers at the same high school and we love to see our students succeed!

Shawn coaches women's basketball and volleyball. I have coached cheerleading until just recently.

We have 12 adorable nieces and nephews!

We are at a Brad Paisley/ Taylor Swift concert. We enjoy country music.

We enjoy going to hockey games as a family.

Since I never went to my own prom, Shawn took me to our high school's prom as chaperones. He rented a tuxedo, I bought a dress, and we had a wonderful time!

Last summer we took a six week vacation to go up and down the East Coast. We visited as many historical sites as possible.

We took a quick trip to Baltimore to see the National Aquarium and eat seafood. We both like shellfish.

We spent a week in Washington D.C. last summer. We spent hours in museums and on tours...we love history and our country...what can we say?

Our first trip to Citizen's Bank Ballpark. Shawn's goal is to visit as many ballparks as possible in the U.S.

We visited the U.S.S. Yorktown while in Charleston, S. Carolina. It was so interesting to tour the WWII era ship.

We went to a yummy Italian restaurant while on vacation in New York. Shawn has Italian ancestors.

We just recently went to watch Shawn's favorite baseball team play in Colorado.

We spend Christmas Eve with Sara's family and Christmas day with Shawn's family. We love to include both families' traditions in our celebrations!

We visited some dear family friends who ran a bed and breakfast near Bryce Canyon.

Shawn loves to follow NCAA sports. We are at a BYU baseball game.

We LOVE to play in the snow. We have just recently taken up skiing.

Sara's dad is a big jeeper and this year we went with him to the Moab Jeep Safari. Moab was so beautiful.
