Our wedding day was perfect! Brian had to drag me away from our reception because I didn't want the day to end.
This was the very first time we saw and held sweet little Ellie.
I worked full time for a lab identifying aquatic insects for several years before we got Ellie. One of the perks of this job was getting paid to go on cool trips and sample for bugs. This trip I got to show Brian the ropes of sampling.

Since Erin's birthday is at the end of May, it usually falls around the same time as Memorial Weekend so we usually get to go somewhere fun. This year we spent the long weekend hiking Coyote Gulch in Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument.
Brian served as a missionary in Central America. We were able to visit his friend in Guatemala a few years ago. The ruins are amazing there.
Our trip to Leigh Lake in Teton National Park is one of our all-time favorite trips. Despite getting rained/hailed on, you can't beat the beautiful scenery.
This picture was taken at the top of Angels Landing in Zion National Park. We had quite a view of the park.

Every year, we head up the canyon (usually the Friday after Thanksgiving) and cut our Christmas tree down.
One of the things we enjoy doing in the winter is reserving one of the local yurts up the canyon and skiing in to stay the night. We decided it would be fun to try this with Ellie. She did pretty good, although sleep was a little scarce.
This was taken in the Uintahs during a family campout.
Here is Grandma Nancy (Erin's mom) helping Ellie ski down the bunny slope for the first time. We can't wait to get her back out there this year.

Ellie and I have fun during the winter months coming up with new things to do. Here we are dressing up in some of our Halloween costumes.
We love Christmas! This was taken on Christmas Eve after reading the story of the birth of Jesus from the scriptures and each opening one present.
One of Ellie's favorite things to do is dance with her daddy. In her world, all Prince Charmings are daddys.
My friend and I took our daughters on a girls night out to the Princesses on Ice. It was fun to spend the night with my princess.

Our local chapter of Families Supporting Adoption holds an Easter egg hunt every spring. We had lots of little bunnies running around collecting eggs.
We took Ellie to Ratatouille for her first movie in a theatre.
To celebrate Erin's birthday this year, we headed to the dinosaur park. Ellie was facinated with the mechanical dinosaurs inside the museum.
Ellie's favorite movie last year was Toy Story 2. I decided to make her a Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl costume and I couldn't resist dressing Brian up as Woody. Tracker got to be slinky dog.

Our friend took us 4-wheeling this past summer. The road we went on took us up to the highest peak in the valley. The view from the top was amazing.
Ellie and I took a Parent-Tot swim class last spring.
We took a trip to California this summer and one of our stops was to Disneyland. We all had so much fun there we can't wait to go back!
On our campout with my family this year, we took a tour through Lehman Cave. Ellie liked hearing her voice echo, despite everyone else wanting to hear the ranger. What can I say? She's a 3-year old.
