Meet Gilly the gold fish! You should have seen the sparkle in Meredith's eye when she received him for her birthday! It was hard to be patient and let him acclimate - she watched and waited and then caught him with her hands once we let him out.

Meredith was so excited to go trick or treating with all her cousins this year. Her excitement was doubled when she found out her cousins doggie was also dressed as a "ladybug" for Halloween. She said "look, we are twins".

Doesn't every little girl have a best frog friend - she caught him while playing at grandma's - they played for hours - he would do tricks and then she decided he needed a bath!
Meredith loves to be outdoors - her Uncle loves to take her fishing! We are so excited to watch her teach a sibling all these fun things she has learned to enjoy.

We are lucky to have a great zoo where we live. She enjoys feeding the giraffe, watching the gorilla, holding the larakeets, riding the carousel, riding the ponies, feeding the goats and walking the aquarium.

I woke a one morning and Mitch announces "I bought us tickets to go see Keane".We sat in the balcony. I said "are you sure this is where you want to be". Mitch says "we're only young once, lets go down there". Stood all 3 hours 10 feet from stage!
All of Mitch's family decided to have a gingerbread house competition this past Christmas. Those of us that lived close got together and made a village! We love that technology keeps us connected with the others who live away!
Megan decided to take Meredith in the early morning to see the raising of the circus tent - perfect opportunity to see the animals too!

We are a family of traditions - Old ones, new ones - one of those includes black friday shopping for Megan, her mom and sisters - here we are eating while waiting for the next store to open - things can get pretty silly at 3:00 am no matter what age!
Megan loves to repurpose things. Here you see part of Meredith's crib is on the wall where we use it to show off art work and pictures. This little blue kitchen she made for Meredith out of an old tall, brown dresser.

These two like to tease mama - at bed time as we walk to the bed room one of them will say "was that the doorbell" or something made up. As Megan turns to see they run and beat her to the room. Megan says "you tricky woo hoo's". She giggles so much.
This year we decided to go pick out our own tree at a farm and cut it down. It was so fun but hard to pick which one would be perfect, but we found one that fit our house and collection of ornaments just right.
Here we are serving at a church Christmas party. We love to be a part of things and involved.
Meredith went through a "Halloween" phase. This started at an appropriate time in October, but lasted beyond Christmas. She always picked out "spooky" books from the library.

We had some friends visit from out of town. We decided to take the little girls geo caching. They were so excited for a treasure hunt and thrilled when they found it! We had to promise to take them again the next day.

Megan loves to plan events and parties. Decorating is her favorite part - Here is a picture from Meredith's 3 yr old party. It was a "you are my Sunshine" outdoor party with her friends.
