This is us. We are a young at heart couple. Dancing down the road of life.
Playing Games is a must in our family. We enjoy the interaction, the laughs, the tauntings and the teasings.
We took the time to enjoy a fall harvest, pick out our pumpkins and run the corn maze before dark.
Our camping trip to South Dakota. Not far from our house and there are no bears!
Although we love going there it seems to always rain on us. We enjoyed one full day of sunshine. For a moment we thought we were visiting Washington.
We enjoy going camping. We have a favorite place that we like to go often. It has wildlife, hiking trails, cabins, and close enough to town to get emergency supplies
Playing in the snow. Each of us likes different things. Doug loves to ride a sled fast and then take off over a jump. Marianne likes to build forts and make snow angels.
Doug just playing with his nephews at the park. We hadn't planned for a water fight but it's hard to keep the men in our family out of the water. Only rule...is no shoes
Acting like a kid is a talent. Here is Doug with his nieces. Each one tried their best to make an expression like their silly Uncle Doug.
Baking Cookies, Decorating the Tree, and using our China is just a couple of ways we celebrate the season. For us opening one present Christmas eve is a must and then taking turns on Christmas morning. Best part of the day is Breakfast. It lasts all

Love actually
Our niece, Heather came and stayed with us during fall break. We enjoyed playing together at the harvest festival and enjoyed jumping on the huge outdoor trampoline.
We enjoy hiking. We enjoy getting high above the tree line, to see a view, or be up in the clouds. Everything looks differently from a 10000 feet up.
Keeping pace with each other.

Making Breakfast with the girls. Marianne with our nieces Alyssa and Julia. We made waffles, cantalope and muffins for breakfast before anyone else got up.
Lady helping Doug shovel the snow in the middle of the blizzard. She always thinks it is a game. So fun to watch...then she tries to eat it all...Sorry lady there is just too much of it.
Our favorite family tradition is going caroling on Christmas Eve and taking treats to friends and neighbors. We spend the whole week baking and then we deliver them before our family Christmas party.
Finding the Geocache!
For my birthday Doug took me cross country skiing. We had enjoyed it at a marriage weekend gateway when we were at BYU and wanted to try it again.
Trying something new....is a family tradition around birthdays. There is just something about getting older that makes you want to feel young again by trying something new.
