The toast Dave's sister gave to us at our reception had everyone laughing so hard we almost cried. She made up funny lyrics and sang them to the tune of a Janis Joplin song...talk about creative!

Most photos from our honeymoon were lost, but we salvaged this one of us with our scuba diving guide in the Bahamas. I've never seen such underwater beauty as I did this day.

We completely rehabbed our house, starting in January 2006 and finished it in mid-2007. That included putting on an addition and finishing off the basement. We created a warm and welcoming home and are very proud of it.

We're lucky to live close to the lake, and one of our favorite summer pastimes is hanging out on the beach and going sailing. This is a shot of Naomi and has cousins from summer 2008.

There's Naomi, bottom right-hand corner in the white t-shirt...boogie-ing down at a block party, Summer 2008. We're fortunate to live in a community made up of so many active, friendly and supportive families. It's a wonderful place to grow up.

Julie and Naomi tagged along to Branson, MO with Dave on a business trip in May '09. There was so much to do there - fishing, boating, live music, riding the train - we even got to see some airshows. Naomi still talks about it several months later!
