This is why we are always laughing in our house! Do I need to say more???
July 3 we drove to Georgetown to ride the train. It goes between Silver Plume and Georgetown. This is us at the Georgetown stop; behind us you see the river and the bridge we rode across. Graham had SO much fun! Have I mentioned he loves trains?!
While in Las Vegas in June we visited Tommy's Grandma LaVee. She is such a great grandma! She even had trains for Graham to play with while we visited!
She will be 92 this year, & we are so happy we have been able to spend so much time with her
Tommy's family got together in June for a family reunion, it was the first time they had all been together in 6.5 years!
We had so much fun together and miss living closer to them.
This is his immediate family and their families.
Family Reunion June 09
We did a lot of fun things while on the ranch... one of Annie's favorites: shooting guns. Here she is shooting a 9mm, watch out!
Graham, with my help, made Tommy a book about all the reasons he loves his daddy. The book turned out great! You can tell Graham is really proud of his work... and REALLY loves his dad!
(he actually is a daddy's boy!)
We were still at the ranch on Father's Day, so we wanted to make it special; the girls got up early & made breakfast. One sister in law got Burger King Crowns for them to wear.
This is Tommy's family-at one table! Pretty amazing if you ask me!
July 4 we drove to Estes Park with Annie's parents. We had a great time eventhough it rained a bit. It did stop in time for the fireworks to start. This is Graham & Annie waiting for the show to start.
Estes Park 09- Annie and Tommy waiting for the fireworks to start.
For Graham's 3rd birthday we took him to a train museum and he even got to ride on "Thomas the Train". We had a lot of fun!
Driving up the coast of California we stopped in the Redwood Forest. This is the "Chandelier Tree". It is over 300ft tall and 24oo yrs old. We were so amazed by it!
Graham & Annie go to the library often and check out books. One early Saturday morning this is what Annie woke up to - quality father/son time.
Spring Break 08 Annie's entire family spent the week in Breckenridge. This is Graham, Annie, and "Grandmas" riding up the gondola
Here are Tommy & Graham in Ghirradelli Square. We ate pizza and ice cream. Then we watched Graham chase the birds
Two summers ago we took a road trip to the Pacific Northwest. One stop along the way was Oregon, where we went to Twin Falls to see the beautiful waterfalls
For our anniversary we decided to do the things we did while dating... We played miniature golf, went bowling, had dinner, and went to a midnight movie (all in one night!)... we had a lot of fun but we were so tired afterwards!
This is Graham's first camping trip when he was 9 months old. Even though it was July, it still got pretty cold. This is him bundled up in his carrier
Tommy was in a relay marathon three years ago. He was the last leg so we got to see him cross the finish line. We were so proud of him!
Graham and his "Papa" when he was 6 weeks old. We think they look so much alike in this picture!
This is Tommy and our dog Sophie Christmas morning. Sophie is such a sweet and loving dog. Sometimes we think she is half cat because she will rub up against our legs; but she also loves to run, play fetch and tug of war.
This was a quick candid of our family taken while at Annie's parents house during Christmas of 08. Our dog Sophie hates pictures, so it was amazing we got her in!
Tommy, Annie, & Graham had a fun day at the Children's Museum; there they have several different rooms with toys or activites, the train room was Graham's favorite. We were alone in the room for a while, so we built a pretty big track.
Annie and Graham walking down Main St in Lava Hot Springs. We were going to go get ice cream at the shop on the corner
Tommy & Graham all dressed ready to go to church. Don't they look handsome?!
