While in Kansas for Holly's ten year high school reunion, we did a family photo shoot at the local park. We also had the opportunity of having extended family in some of the pictures. It was a typical summer day in Kansas, hot and humid!

We own a tent trailer and love to use it as much as we can! We like to take it up our local canyon for weekend get-a-ways.
This photo was taken at the very first BYU home football game of the season. We were a part of the Cougars third straight undefeated home season.
For our 8th wedding anniversary we took a train ride through Heber Valley. The train followed the shoreline of Deer Creek Reservoir. Being in an open car allowed us a 360 degree view of the pretty valley.
In April of 2008 we went to St. George, UT for spring break. While there we went on a hike in the Snow Canyon State Park. The scenery was beautiful!
On the same trip to St. George, UT we went 4-wheeling with some friends out in the desert. It allowed us to see the unique landscape around St. George.
For the second year in a row, Holly's aunt and uncle invited us to go snow skiing. Here we are on the ski lift. We hope to make this an annual tradition!

Our summer vacation took us to Mt. Rushmore for the first time ever. We were both pleasantly surprised at the beauty of this area!
While hiking at the Mt. Rushmore National Memorial we saw several beautiful rock formations and had to take a picture by one.
While in South Dakota we stumbled upon beautiful scenery! This is Sylvan Lake in Custer State Park. We were amazed by its beauty and peacefulness!
On a hot summer day we took a day trip and escaped to the mountains! Here we are at Cascade Springs. We are so lucky to have so many neat things to see so close to home.
We spent a chilly spring evening at a BYU baseball game. Being at the ballpark watching baseball means spring has sprung!

Holly was a huge New Kids on the Block fan in her younger days. In 2008 NKOTB announced a reunion. Holly has enjoyed attending a few of their recent concerts!
