Jennae's dad is a typical "nerd". He's worked in the computer industry since its inception. He loves star gazing and looks forward to having a grandchild to share all his hobbies with.
Jason's mother is a big kid at heart! She's worked her whole life as a child care provider, running a day care out of her home. While growing up, Jason helped her care for dozens of kids over the years in addition to helping raise his brother.
Jennae enjoys working on her scrapbooks and doing crafts. Here she is showing her mother-in-law her newest photo album creation. Jennae can't wait to share this creative love with a child all her own.

Dinner after neighborhood tree lighting ceremony. Jason's parents came over to celebrate the annual town Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Afterward, we all went to a nice dinner and talked about anything and everything.
Cirque De Soliel, Chicago. Jason knows the man that was operating the lights that evening so we got in for free. Both sets of grandparents enjoyed themselves as did Jason and Jennae. We look forward to sharing these adventures with a child.

Each winter, our families gather to celebrate a few weeks before the Christmas holiday. We celebrate at our home or Jennae's dad's. Each couple is asked to bring one + types of cookies to share. This is a family tradition going back generations.
We're fortunate to have lots of family in the area. Jennae's cousins are all about her age and it's great babysitting or going out as a group. We all want to make sure that even as we all grow into our own families, we still stay close.
Jason and Jennae's father, Joe have tons in common. They both love computers and working on household projects. Dad is helping us put together a great wood shop area for Jason. We try, every month, to get together for a nice family evening.
The baking bug has bite Jennae! She loves to create fun detailed desserts for family and friends. Working together, she and Jason make wonderful fondant iced cakes and other tasty treats. This is a hobby they hope to pass on to their own children.
