We had such a blast at the ball game. It was the first time for Rebecca to see a live ball game. Someday maybe we'll catch an NBA or NFL game.
We love spending time as a family. We took Owen out around our yard for his first sleigh ride this winter.
Barry loves to go snowmobiling when ever he gets the chance to borrow some machines. Here he is with his brother David.
Owen is obsessed with trains especially Thomas. He just lights up when he sees anything Thomas. He also loves cars, especially the Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater in particular.
We both enjoy traveling to new places. One day we'll be able to take our children to those same places we enjoyed.
We hope to create lots of fun memories for Owen to have, like making cookies with his mom.
Barry is really talented when it comes to landscaping and making our yard look beautiful. Owen is learning to love trees, flowers and plants just as much as his daddy.
We live in a quiet cold-e-sac in a small city. In our subdivision, nearly every home has children. There are 7 kids total from the families next door, ranging 5 mos. to 8 yrs old. Within just minutes you can get to the city park or elementary school
Barry's family is growing so fast that even this picture from Thanksgiving 2008 is old. It's missing 3 new nieces. It's been so fun to watching the previous set of babies finally get old enough to enjoy and play with each other.
I'm not an expert seamstress but I do enjoy making quilts and basic items.
Owen is a fish out of water. He loves the bath and we thought the same would happen with the swim pool. Instead he wouldn't sit down in it.
We started reading to Owen when he was only a couple months old. It's about the only time he sits still these days, is when he is being read to. We're sure reading time will be a memory we'll all cherish.
Owen has brought a happiness to our lives that is indescribable. It was such a wonderful the day he was officially part of our family.
Christmas is our favorite holiday. We added several new traditions with Owen's arrival to our family. On Christmas Eve, we get new pajamas to wear and each Christmas, we get a new ornament for our tree.
Barry has had a dog most of his life. Here is is with our dogs Bongo and Susie (now in doggy heaven).
Music is a part of both of our lives. We both took piano lessons as kids. Rebecca took up guitar and Barry took up trombone in high school.
This year Owen helped Barry carve a pumpkin for Halloween. We hope to make it a tradition in our family.
Our wedding day was definitely a wonderful day and thinking back to that day brings lots of happy memories.
We had a wonderful experience with Owen's birth-mother. She had us come to the hospital to see her and Owen that same day he was born. We instantly fell in love with him the moment we saw him.
Owen is just a happy, smiling boy for the most part. He will be such a great big brother. He is so loving and kind
This is Rebecca's sister and dad at our wedding. We sure do miss her mother and brother. Her sister married and now has 2 little boys. It's simply wonderful to have little cousins on both sides of the family for Owen to play with.
