We live in a 5 bedroom house in a tree-lined street in a large university town. It is a great place to raise a family. We are looking forward to taking our child to their first college football and basketball game!
Meredith loves to decorate our home. She's looking forward to her biggest decorating challenge: babyproofing!
We have two pugs, Kenzie and Barney. Kenzie is almost 11 and Barney is 3. Our nieces love to chase them around and pull their tails. Both Kenzie and Barney are super tolerant and great with kids.
Our families were so supportive of us growing up. They were there for all the little things like basketball games and dance recitals. We plan on cheering our child on just the same. Last year we celebrated Meredith's sister's law school graduation.
We were both lucky to have siblings growing up and we'll make sure our child does too! Ted is an identical twin and Meredith has a sister who's 4 years younger.
During the first year we were married we took a trip to Arizona (as part of our quest to visit all 50 states.) Last month we visited Park City, Utah. We'd love to bring baby along as we finish up our list!
Ted's brother has two girls: one who's four and one who is one and a half. We love being Aunt Mere and Uncle Ted. The girls are both looking forward to having a new cousin!
While Ted was an Air Force Officer, he was deployed to Qatar.
Meredith's Dad is one of five so every year her extended family would get together for a 'Cousins Party." She is looking forward to introducing everyone to the newest cousin!
Our niece reports that Uncle Ted is a good colorer and is fun to play with in the yard. He never gets tired watching her and her sister go up and down the slide.
Meredith's grandpa loves spending time with his grandkids. Here is a photo of him reading to Meredith and her cousin when they were young. We'd love to make him a great-grandfather at 93!
Spending time with Jeff (Ted's identical brother) and his wife, Dana.
We are closet Nascar fans. Sundays we like to hang out on the couch and watch the races. Actually, Ted watches the races while Meredith and the pugs take a 'Nascar Nap." Going to the races is way more fun!
We love going to college football games. We are looking forward to bringing our child along to cheer with us. (Maybe not when it's this cold, though!)
While Ted was in the Air Force, we lived in Germany for three and a half years. Although it was hard being so far away from friends and family in the States, we got to take some wonderful trips. During our stay, the World Cup came to town!
