The best thing about visiting family in Utah for Christmas is going to the Salt Lake temple to see the Christmas lights. They are amazing! Now they just need portable heaters and the experience would be perfect!

Because I am a high school teacher, we have the advantage of reliving prom every year. Ben looks forward to prom at the end of every school year so he can dance to the ghettolicious music that our students love. He is the life of the party!

This was a dress up dinner party. We were told that we looked straight out of That 70's Show!

Our little stud muffin Sancho aka Jibbs, Stinks, Poopers, Tibbs, or anything else that comes to mind at the moment. He loves visiting his grandparents in Utah where he can run around in the freezing cold snow. Brrr!

We took our high school students on a fieldtrip to L.A. to see the Museum of Tolerance. We camped out in tents for two nights and went to the beach and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

We went to a dental school party with my brother when he came up to Phoenix for a conference. It was for his spanish club, so they played all sorts of latin music. We tried to get our groove on, but we were outshined by the native salsa pros.

Ben has coached roller hockey for the three years that we have lived in AZ. The kids love him, and he has a great time doing it. He definitely practices parenting skills with these little rugrats.

We got to pretend we were in Hawaii when we went to chaparone prom at my high school. It was a tropical theme.

We are known for rocking dress up parties. We love Halloween! We won best costumes for this murder msystery dinner party where we were supposed to play high school sweethearts that turned famous with our awesome rockstar moves!

Ben's little cousins just love him to death. They get so excited whenever we come to visit because they get to wrestle with him.

We had dinner with a Iranian friend. She put a jangle skirt on Ben and showed him how to dance. It was hilarious!

We went to a good old Texas rodeo when we went to visit my brother and his wife at dental school. Goo Goo Dolls were in concert that night, and they were great!

I love sledding during Christmas. We took my little cousins to cruze down the hill. We had a few wipeouts, but we survived!

Sancho's aunt Lauren got him a Santa suit for Christmas. I don't think he was too happy about it. He refused to move when we put it on him.

I got to hang out with Snoop Dogg in L. A. Okay, he is just a wax statue, but it still felt cool.

A relaxing Thanksgiving with Ben's family. I learned how to make killer rolls, and Ben jumped on the trampoline with his cousins.

I was a bridesmaid for my older brothers wedding almost two years ago. It was fun to see him so happy, and I LOVE my sister-in-law!

We had fun at the Quicksilver store in Las Vegas. We each chose an outfit in the store and modeled them. I have to say that my husband is a major hottie!

I may have won Ben as a jackpot of a husband, but we can never seem to win Megabucks when we try. Who can go to Vegas and pass up the one opportunity to become instantaneously filthy rich? That's all the gambling we do. We promise!

We saw the Lion King musical and it was so awesome! The costumes were incredible and the actors really moved liked animals. Plus, the music was phenomenal.

Ben loves to wakeboard. He is sad because his friend just sold his boat. Now he needs to find another person to mooch off of so he can get his wakeboarding fix.

We went to this indoor trampoline place where there are tons of trampolines connected together. Ben was totally into it!

I had a blast at the trampoline fun house as well. Us girls stuck together and did flips.

My littlest brother just graduated high school and now my parents are empty nestors. I had fun going to Atlanta and seeing him achieve something so cool.

Ben does marketing for a dental group in Phoenix. He put together an entire community party with a blow up water slide, ponies, and lots of food.

We helped out with a youth church activity. We dressed up as pioneers and had to walk 25 miles pulling handcarts just like the pioneers 150 years ago. What an adventure!

Ben dressed up as dirty mullet man for Halloween. Pretty sexy.

We dressed up as a pageant mom and her daughter. It was so much fun. I stuffed my bum and stomach with pillows. Ben was a total trooper for dressing up!

Ben loves the Phoenix Coyotes. We get free tickets a lot because Ben coaches a little league hockey team and one of the parents gets tickets through work. Free games are even more fun!

Our home when we decided to buy it. It's been a great place to live. It was such a big decision to buy our first home. Wow, it's been three and a half years now.

My great grandpa worked on the Hoover Dam. We had to stop by on a road trip on our way home from Utah. Ben is really scared of heights, so he didn't want to get anywhere near the wall.

We went to visit my grandma at her cabin in Utah. Ben is a master horseshoe player. I don't know where he gets his talent!

We went hiking at Zions National Park with my parents. The park was gorgeous.

Ben's little sister graduated from college so we went to support her. Congratulations Lauren!

We went to the Grand Canyon over Thanksgiving. It was so gorgeous there. I think it's one of my favorite national parks. The view is breath taking.
