Dear Birthmother You probably never expected to be reading through profile after profile searching for the perfect family for your baby. We never expected to be one of many wonderful families facing infertility trying our best to create the perfect profile. Yet interesting enough, here we are... together...

About Us... Jaime through Susan's Eyes...
Jaime and I met one evening when I was out with one of my girlfriends attempting to salsa dance. The main thing I remember from that evening was how unbelievably handsome he was! He had the most incredible smile, charming personality, and boy oh boy could he dance- salsa, merengue, bachata, you name it- and he could speak Spanish!

Almost ten years later he is still my everything.

Jaime is kind, loving, and nurturing. He enjoys being involved in every aspect of parenting- from sharing a hug or a Popsicle to getting up in the middle of the night to make sure everything is alright. He is a kid at heart and loves to entertain our son Alejandro as well as the neighborhood kids. It warms my heart to see how good he is with our son and I am excited to raise another child with him.

To put it simply, Susan is my best friend, wife and life time companion. I still remember the first time I saw her across the dance floor. She captivated my eyes with her beauty, my mind with her intelligence, and my soul with her dancing.

Susan is strong, intelligent, successful, playful, honest, and generous. She's a wonderful person who cares for others and never puts herself first. She's not only a great wife, but a great mother. The most impressive attribute is her patience. No matter what issues might have come up during her day, she's always calm and patient.

Susan is my soul mate and I thank God everyday for bringing our family together. She is a great mother and wife.

Our Home...
Our home is located in a popular Midwest suburb and has museums, parks, zoos and schools only a few short minutes away. Our neighborhood is filled with young families from a variety of ethnic backgrounds with many young children. It is always fun to watch the neighborhood children playing together and hear their laughter. We can't wait for our new son or daughter to join in the fun!

Our Path to Adoption... After dealing with infertility for several years, we decided to pursue adoption to build our family. 3 weeks after receiving a very special phone call we were in the delivery room awaiting the birth of our son. From the moment we held him, it was clear to us that this had been God's plan all along. Alejandro is sweet, funny, smart, and independent. He loves to collect rocks, play with cars, sing, and read. He is very much looking forward to being a big brother and we can't wait to adopt again!

Susan was adopted as an infant and her parents have done a wonderful job of openly communicating with her through the years regarding her adoption. We are ready to follow in their footsteps developing this same trust and level of openness within our own family.

The Promises We Will Keep... We know there are so many wonderful families for you to consider - each one of them unique and special in their very own way. Just follow your heart, pray for God's guidance, and know that with us...

They will be safe
