Isaac & Sara are hopeful adoptive parents from Pennsylvania waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Congratulations!
Adoption in Progress.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to get to know us. We truly admire you for trying to do what is best for your child, and it is a humble honor to know that you may be considering us at this time. We pray that you will be blessed with guidance and peace as you make this important decision.
About Us Our Beginnings
Isaac and I met our senior year of high school (I was dating his best friend at the time!). On our first date, we went snowmobiling and had a wonderful time. A week later, I had a surgery on my leg and was in a wheelchair for a few months. Isaac came over almost every day to visit me, and when I returned to school, he would push me to each of my classes. He was so sweet! We went to our senior prom together (I was still on crutches) and that night we had our first kiss, in front of all of our friends.

We dated until Isaac was called to serve a mission in Russia. We wrote to each throughout the two years that he was away. Three weeks after Isaac returned home, he proposed. I was completely surprised by the proposal, but both of our families knew it was coming. Isaac even took both of our moms ring shopping with him!

After a whirlwind of planning, we were married seven weeks later. We have been married for six years- it has been a wonderful time of supporting each other through school, going on many vacations all over the country, and growing in our love and appreciation for one another.

Why We Want to Adopt
Nine months after we were married, we decided that it was time to add to our family. Years passed, and we've worked with various fertility specialists, undergoing numerous procedures including IVF. We both want a large family, so we have decided to seek this opportunity through adoption. We hope that adoption will bring this much sought answer to our prayers. Sara's oldest brother was adopted and we are eternally grateful for his birth mother's decision to place Michael through adoption. Our family would not be complete without him!

It's Better When We're Together
We love to spend time together! Some of our favorite things to do include mountain biking, camping, traveling, and photography.

We love to go to the beach and take road trips just about anywhere! We've visited 29 states and Mexico together. We love to just hop in the car and drive- and Dax loves it too! Some of our favorite places to visit are Utah, NYC, and Washington DC.

We love to play Scrabble, Phase10, and SkipBo, even though Isaac always wins! We love to celebrate holidays and birthdays- we even have "birthday week" that starts the week before your birthday and ends with a big celebration on your birthday. You get to do pretty much whatever you want during your birthday week and it is so much fun!

Our Family
We both have wonderful families who support us in our decision to adopt. Our sweet nieces and nephews ask us all of the time if we have a baby yet. They are almost as excited as we are!

Isaac is the fifth of eight children in his family and he has 16 nieces and nephews. Sara is the youngest of six children and has 12 nieces and nephews. All are eagerly awaiting a new cousin to play with!
Isaac Hearts Sara I think Sara is the most beautiful woman on earth! Her kindness and cheerful personality win her friends wherever she goes. She is the most considerate person I know, always thinking of how things will affect the feelings of those around her. She's so nice to our dog Daxter, I can hardly imagine how wonderful she would be to a little baby.

Sara is always willing to help and serve. She loves to craft, decorate, sew, and travel to new places. Sara also loves to read books. Perhaps this is what helped her graduate at the top of her class in family and human development!

Sara has always loved photography and has recently converted to the realm of digital! She loves to use her spare time learning new techniques and playing on Photoshop. Sara likes to accompany me on mountain bike rides, preferably without the mountains. She even does a pretty good job at keeping up!

Sara loves her family so much and cherishes the time she spends with each of her nieces and nephews. She has always dreamed of the day that she will be a mother and has already given much thought to how she will teach, interact, and play with our children. Sara has a heart full of love that is waiting to be poured upon a child entrusted to our care.

Sara Hearts Isaac Isaac is amazing! He is a wonderful husband and my best friend. He is a PhD student studying bioengineering, and is probably the smartest guy I know. He loves to learn and constantly impresses his colleagues and advisors with his creativity.

He loves to mountain bike and race in off-road triathlons. This past summer he went surfing for the first time and fell in love. He loves the beach, he loves the mountains, he loves to snowmobile and four-wheel and fish.

Isaac loves children, and children adore him! During church, you can often hear multiple children saying, "Isaac! Where's Isaac?" We were the coordinators of the nursery not too long ago, and the children loved him. He has so much fun with our nieces and nephews and loves them so much. He is also the founder and president of a non-profit organization to raise money to improve the lives of our inner-city youth. This year, we are taking the youth to Utah for the Especially for Youth program, and Isaac has been the driving force behind this.

Isaac is also very handy. He learned how to do cement when he was a teenager, and can do framing, drywall, electrical, and plumbing. Two years ago we bought our first home and Isaac gutted the kitchen and built it over from scratch. He did an amazing job. He is currently redoing our basement, and I am sure it will be just as amazing.

Isaac makes friends everywhere he goes, because he genuinely cares about those that he comes in contact with. He is very funny, smart, handsome, and I know that Isaac will be a magnificent father!
