We've Adopted a Girl.

Dear Birthmother We would like to thank you for taking the time to get to know us and for giving us the opportunity to possible raise your child. We are very excited about adoption and the thought of offering a loving home to a child. I have always wanted to be a mother and Todd and I can't wait to raise a family together. We both were blessed with amazing families and childhoods and just want to offer the same to someone else. We believe it takes a special person to put a child's needs before their own. We know that you must be an incredibly strong and loving person to give your child the best possible future they can have. We are grateful that you think we may be that family.

Todd and I met through a mutual friend and have been happily married for nearly 4 years. We had known each other for years before we started dating and one day we just knew we were meant to be together forever. Todd and I are best friends and truly just enjoy each others company. We share similar ideas and goals in life. Most of all we have a tremendous amount of love and respect for one another.

Todd is a systems engineer at Children's Hospital in Washington, DC. He manages the Telecommunications Department and really enjoys his job. I manage a Clinical Nutrition Department at a hospital in Baltimore. I have been a dietitian for nearly 10 years and really enjoy helping others.

Todd has a Bachelor of Arts and I accomplished one of my life goals by obtaining my Masters of Science this past fall.

Even though Todd and I both enjoy our careers, we really enjoy our home life more. Todd and I live in a water oriented community that is well established with 3 parks, community piers, and a swimming pool. We really enjoy spending our time in our beautiful back yard with a deck and patio. We both grew up on Chesapeake Bay, so crab feast are common. Todd and I love spending the fall and winter at Redskins and Navy football games.

Todd and I are blessed to live near both our families. I have two sisters Kelly and Kristin who I see on a weekly basis. My parents are my best friends and live just down the street. Todd's immediate family is also in the same area and we enjoy spending time with his mother and sister. Todd's brother is happily married with two young boys who we get to spend a lot of time with and spoil. We both feel very blessed to have such a wonderful and close family, we look forward to sharing them with someone else.

We are very excited to start our family through adoption. We would be very happy to help meet your wishes and make this adoption as easy for you as possible. Again thank you for considering Todd and I, we want to share all that we have with a child.
