Ed & Marie are hopeful adoptive parents from New York waiting to adopt a baby.

Marie & Ed Hi! We’re Marie and Ed. We are excited that you are taking the time to learn a little about us. We admire your commitment to finding the right family to love and cherish your baby. We can offer your baby a loving home and a future filled with wonderful opportunities and exciting experiences. We are an open, caring family and our home is full of laughter and joy. We have known each other since college and our marriage is full of trust, honesty and commitment.

We love spending time together – whether we’re sharing a rainy Saturday afternoon watching movies or off traveling on some adventure. We love to spend time outdoors, hiking, camping, skiing, whitewater rafting and going to the beach. We also love to travel and some of our adventures have included visiting Europe, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Colorado and California. We especially enjoy spending time with our family and friends sharing holidays, birthdays and vacations together.

Marie is a truly terrific wife and mother. She loves staying home with our son, Christopher and watching him grow. She is extremely patient and loving and showers Christopher with affection and encouragement. She loves taking Christopher to the park and zoo, reading to him and going to his gym and music classes. Marie also loves going to the beach to spend a day in the sun and surf, going shopping with friends or visiting a new exhibit at a museum. She also loves to read and spend time with her family and friends. Although Marie has had a successful career as an attorney, she has decided to be a full-time mom. She feels fortunate that she has the time to devote to taking care of her family.

Ed is a wonderful father and husband. He is completely devoted to our son, Christopher. He enjoys playing with Christopher at the park and reading stories to him at bedtime. He especially loves teaching Christopher about nature and animals on their long walks together. Christopher gets so excited when Ed comes home from work each day – he can’t wait to play with his Daddy. Ed is an attorney for an investment firm. He is also a marathon runner and enjoys hiking, fishing and playing hockey. Each new day is an adventure for Ed as he loves to learn and explore about new things and share them with us.

We adopted our son, Christopher, through Gladney in December, 2005. He is a happy, loving little boy who is full of life. He loves playing with his toys, looking at his books, dancing and playing fetch with our dog, Darcy. He is very social and loves to be around other children. He can’t wait to be a big brother.

We live in a beautiful, residential neighborhood. Our community has lots of young families with children, excellent schools and plenty of parks. We have a large backyard with lots of trees and beautiful flowers. We are close to several nature preserves where we can go hiking, fishing and horseback riding.

We hope that we have helped you to learn a little more about us. We are family-oriented, with a strong set of shared values and faith in God. We love each other and Christopher very much and can’t wait to share our love and home with another child. We promise you that we will love your baby and provide a happy, stable and secure home. We have been blessed with a supportive family and wonderful friends that can’t wait to welcome a new baby.
