Congratulations!
Adoption in Progress.

Welcome To Our Family We are delighted that you are reading our profile! We know that adoption is a decision made out of a sweet and tender love for your baby. Searching for the perfect family for your baby may seem overwhelming and we thank you for the opportunity to introduce ourselves. We would like to offer you a glimpse into our lives and share information with you that may help you decide if we are the right family for you and your baby.

Why We Chose Adoption
Our names are Jason and Jennifer. We have been married for over nine wonderful years and have two adopted sons, Connor and Brayden. They are five and two years old. They both came into our family through the miracle of adoption after we had tried for several years to have a child, with no success. We had hoped to start a family very soon after we were married. First we tried for months, and then the months turned to years; complete with all the tests, hundreds of shots and high-tech procedures that infertility treatments have to offer. After years of struggling and experiencing only failure, we realized adoption was the perfect, and the only way, for us to have the family we so desperately wanted. We have discovered what a blessing adoption can bring to everyone involved. Perhaps through our own personal struggles with infertility, we have somehow been prepared to help you at this time in your life.
Our Backgrounds and Hobbies About Jason
Jason grew up in a very active family with two brothers and a sister. He loves almost all outdoor sports! He is an especially good skier in both the snow and in the water. He also has a great sense of humor. He is very caring and sensitive too. He is the type of person that is quiet and pensive, always relaxed, and never gets upset about anything. His patience seems to have no end. This is one of the qualities that makes him a great father. He is a very hands-on dad and loves to spend time with our sons doing 'boy stuff'. This especially includes Saturday morning trips to Home Depot and the car wash with Connor and Brayden!
Jason is also super active and has many hobbies. First of all, he loves to play the guitar. He has also studied photography and loves to take pictures. Jason is also a triathlete and is currently training for an extreme outdoor race. He’ll be hiking, mountain biking and kayaking through the mountains for about 60 miles to reach the finish line! Jason is also an avid Nascar fan and has even taken some racing classes himself. He is also a wizard at anything technological, although his degree is not in computers. Jason attended the University of Utah and graduated with a degree in accounting.
Jason is now the general manager for a successful transportation company. Last year, the family owned business went public on the New York Stock Exchange and we had the opportunity to go to New York City for the ringing of the opening bell. It was a very special moment for the entire extended family. Jason is such a hard worker and it was a wonderful time to celebrate his family's success, reflect upon our blessings, and appreciate the privileged lifestyle we have.

About Jennifer
Jennifer comes from a family of five daughters, and no sons! She is very close to her family. She is always well planned and organized in everything she does. Jennifer likes to make crafts, sew, stamp, and create scrapbooks for our family. She also enjoys cooking and often attends cooking classes. She loves to come home and surprise us with some delicious new recipe. Jennifer’s favorite hobby is horseback riding. She has two horses and loves the special relationship she has with them. She competes in dressage and loves how gracefully the horses move, ‘like ballerinas,’ she says. Jennifer also enjoys collecting children’s books. We probably have thousands of children’s books, which she says are for the boys, but we all know better! But she can’t help it- it’s just the teacher in her. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in bilingual elementary education. She also studied abroad while in college and is fluent in Spanish. (Vivi en Mexico, en el D.F., y atendi la Universidad de las Americas. Fue una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida!) After graduation, Jennifer taught grades K-2, but mostly kindergarten.
Jennifer stopped teaching after Connor was born and now enjoys being a stay-at-home mom to our two sons. She takes them to swim lessons, music classes, the children’s gym and other places where they can play and learn through fun activities. Jennifer is the type of mother that is involved in our children’s school activities like PTA, field trips, plays and class parties!
2 Big Brothers Our sons, Connor and Brayden, are such a blessing to us. They are both very funny, sweet and loving, but they do have different personalities. Connor is very outgoing and a friend to everyone! Brayden is a little shyer, but he is willing to jump into anything as long as his big brother breaks the ice! They are such great friends and really get along so well. They always give hugs and a kiss at bed time, and when Connor is dropped off at school. Connor attends a private Montessori school which he loves, and Brayden misses him the whole time he’s gone! Education is very important to us, and we strive to offer our children the best education possible through private schools. We hope to instill in them a love of learning and a desire to reach their fullest potential in all areas of their life. They both have a college fund already, and hopefully they will choose to take advantage of all the opportunities ahead of them.

Openness in Adoption
Connor and Brayden both know that they are adopted and we keep in touch with their birth parents often. Our relationship with our sons' birth parents didn't end at placement, but rather they just began. Our relationship with each of them is one of love, honor, trust and it is for life. Connor and Brayden's adoptions do have different levels of openness and we enjoy each one differently. We will be happy to discuss what your needs are and what level of openness you desire. We will respect your wishes and always follow through. We know that our sons are blessed by open adoptions. They will always know how much they are loved by everyone involved. And when they have questions about their birth parents, they can ask them directly. We love Connor and Brayden’s birth parents so much that words would only fail to describe it. It is truly a sacred bond we share with them.
Travel and Traditions Now that you know a little about our backgrounds, we’d like to tell you about the things we do together as a family and what kind of life we could offer your child. First of all, we have a strong and loving marriage. We are each other’s best friend and we do so much together. In the evenings, you will find us eating dinner together around the dinner table. On Monday nights, you could find us playing a game of Cootie on the living room floor for family night. We often have family and friends over for barbeques in the summer, or to roast marshmallows in the winter. We also go for weekend getaways and vacations quite often. We love to travel and do activities with our extended family and close friends. We often go to the family home in Colorado for ski trips during the winter, go to the sand dunes in the fall, and in the summer we often spend time on our house boat at Lake Powell or beach house in California. Occasionally we take a more exotic trip. Within the last few months we have gone to Hawaii. The boys had a great time and Connor wanted to live there. We also took Connor and Brayden on their first international trip. We went to Mexico City to visit close friends. It was exciting to watch our children discover a new culture. Within the next year we plan on spending time in Europe with the boys while we visit Jennifer's sister and other friends in Spain, Germany, and Italy.

Our Home
Our home is a favorite destination for our extended family because there is so much to do here. We live in a gated community at the end of a cul-de-sac and have neighbors with lots of children. We chose to build our new home here because of the great yard and the immediate proximity to the park. We have also created a yard that is ideal for kids. Our home is a place where children want to come and can have fun. Our three-year-old niece recently asked us if she could spend the night for five years so she could play a lot in our backyard! Our home is spacious and inviting with a warm atmosphere. In hopes of growing our family through adoption, we have already decorated a beautiful nursery that is ready to welcome a new baby, or even twins!

In Closing
We hope that we have given you enough information to get a little insight into our lives. We realize that you may still have many more questions. We welcome the chance to talk with you and answer all of them; even in person if you wish. Please Send us a message any time. If you should choose to entrust us to adopt your baby, your child will know that you love him or her and that because of you, we received our most cherished gift. Your baby will be loved beyond what words can express and we will be eternally thankful to you for the immeasurable joy that you have given us.

We wish you peace and strength in your decisions and we look forward to hearing from you.

With warmest regards,
Jason and Jennifer
