Steve & Melissa are hopeful adoptive parents from Pennsylvania waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birth Parent We are so glad that you are looking at our profile! You must be feeling a tremendous amount of things right now! And to be here, looking at profiles of adoptive couples, we commend you! You are very courageous to be considering adoption. We want to let you know that we are willing to pursue an open adoption, which is where the child will still maintain contact and communication with you, the birth parents. Or if you prefer we can keep the adoption not as open and wait until later in life when you and the child are ready to communicate.

We would like to introduce ourselves. We are Steve and Missy and this is our son Zachary. We can’t wait to learn more about you and assist you in your decision to adopt. Send us a message
Just a couple of kids! We met in 1990, when Missy was a sophomore in high school. We bummed around for a few years and finally got married in 1994. We spent our time without children traveling the country and spending time with families. We have a great relationship and love to spend time together, whether it is just the two of us or us and our son Zachary.

Zachary has been a member of our family since 2007. He was born via an amazing sister-in-law that offered to surrogate for us. We absolutely love having a child! He is so much fun (and a little frustrating sometimes!). Thank you for continuing to check out our profile. Send us a message
It really IS about LOVE! We have been in and around adoption for years. Missy has a brother whose wife and him have adopted and Steve has a brother and his wife who are starting to consider adoption. We have seen the wonderful benefits for every child that is adopted: great relationships with birth parents; a two-parent environment; generally better off financially; a better possibility of a stay-at-home-mother. We know of so many circumstances of amazing adoptions! This must be a really difficult decision for you. We hope and pray that this is truly the want of your heart and not someone else’s.

We know that we all have a loving Heavenly Father and we know that we all are given challenges for our good and benefit. We believe that for some reason we could not have children and our children will come to us through amazing people dealing with difficult circumstances. It is our prayer that those people may be you. Please pray for your child – we know that we will be, and for you too! Send us a message
