Thomas & Cynthia are hopeful adoptive parents from Minnesota waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthparent (s):
Hi! We cannot imagine the many difficult challenges you have been presented with so far. You are extremely loving and courageous to consider adoption and we are thankful that we have been given the opportunity to introduce ourselves. Hopefully, this snapshot of our lives will paint a picture of what growing up in our family will be like.
We are truly excited to build our family through adoption.
Children are very important to us and we have always dreamed of having a family. Adoption has already played an important role in our family as
Cyndy's Mom and two of her siblings were adopted. Our support system is strong, filled with family and friends, and we are fortunate to have others around us who understand what adoption is all about--first hand. Our Christian faith also plays an important part in our belief that there is a child out there- meant especially for us to share our unconditional love, understanding, security, and family support. Our family is our first priority and we are fortunate to be able to structure our lifestyle and have Cyndy work just part-time when our little one arrives.
She is looking forward to focusing her attention and energy on being a Mom!
Cyndy’s thoughts about Tom
Tom is a wonderful man! I can't believe that we have been married for 7 years already! He is kind, loving, generous, patient, sincere, honest, and super fun to be around. His sense of humor never fails to make me laugh. Our nieces and nephews enjoy being with Tom; whether it be casting a fishing line or horsing around, the kids seek him out. I love to watch him interact with all the children in our family and in our neighborhood. It brings a huge smile to my face and
I know Tom will be a terrific Dad!
Tom’s thoughts about Cyndy:
I can remember the first time I met Cyndy. It was a blind date and I was nervous it would turn out like the others I had been on. Boy was I wrong! Not only did I find her attractive, but also funny, compassionate, and adventurous. I came to realize she was the woman with whom I wanted to share my life and raise a family.
Children love Cyndy! They always seek her out to play a game or read a book. Friends of ours brought their three year old daughter for a visit last summer. Even though it was the first time they had met, it wasn't long before she bonded with Cyndy. In fact, she climbed into Cyndy's lap to watch "The Little Mermaid." Grace and Cyndy were inseparable from that point on! Before they left, Grace insisted that Cyndy come visit their home soon. Cyndy will be an awesome Mom!
Tom and Cyndy
Our home is located on a wooded lot and we have a large fenced yard in which to play. Our neighborhood is full of young children whose laughter echoes throughout the block. In the summer the sidewalks are filled with walkers, strollers, bikes, and lemonade stands. In the winter the pond is transformed into a skating rink where kids of all ages gather.
We can't wait to have kids in our yard!! We are already planning the hot chocolate party after a day of skating! Close to schools and church, our neighborhood is perfect for kids of all ages.
We come from large, close knit families. We have so many nieces and nephews we could field a football team. We also have close friends who are just like family.
They are all supportive of us in our adoption journey and are very excited for the arrival of a new addition to the family!!
Passionate about the outdoors, our favorite vacations have included camping and hiking in Yellowstone, Custer State Park, and the Grand Canyon. Cyndy remembers the thrill she experienced as a child seeing the "upside down showers" at Yellowstone and laughing at the antics of the mischievous bear cubs at Banff, Canada. We eagerly look forward to sharing similar experiences with our children on our family vacations. We enjoy so many other things too, like running, biking, gardening, and cooking. Tom can't wait to share his skills at fishing. woodworking, and hunting. Cyndy loves to go horseback riding, "antiquing," and showing our two Samoyed dogs, Katya and Talis.
We understand that it can be of great comfort to know your child is healthy, well taken care of, and certainly loved with lots of hugs and kisses. We are open to ideas you may have to help you feel confident with your decision, such as pictures, letters, and possibly visits.
We would love to meet you and learn what you hope for your child's future. If you would like to speak with us, please contact Wellspring Adoption Agency, at (800) 444-3443 or (888) 333-2275.
Sincerely,
Tom and Cyndy
