We are Dave and Polli. We are so excited for you to get to know us! No words can fully express the joy we felt when Kaitlyn’s birth mother placed her in our arms and hearts forever. We can’t wait to experience that joy again. We truly believe that the greatest gift a parent can give their child is a sibling. Through the miraculous gift of adoption, our lives have already been forever blessed. Thanks to the love and kindness of wonderful birthparents, we were blessed in 2007 when we adopted our daughter, Kaitlyn. She has filled our home with more love and joy than we ever imagined possible. We are blessed to have a relationship with Kaitlyn's birth mom where we can happily exchange emails, pictures and occasional telephone conversations so she can see for herself how her selfless decision created a happy family.. We have visited a few times with her since our little Kaitlyn was born. We know that you are making a decision because you love your baby! We hope that we can provide all that you hope for your baby and will do our best to do so.

If you are looking for a family that loves to laugh, smile and have fun- you have come to the right place. If you are looking for a family that is full of love, respect and togetherness, - here we are! We love jogs on the beach, or the neighborhood park, trips to the library, vacations, a quiet night at home with the TV, a video, or a book, hanging out with friends and family, camping under the stars and hikes in the mountains, to name a few things. If you're looking for a family with a lot of love, we have that too. We have a nice extended family, 4 grandparents, 15 aunts and uncles and 24 cousins.

We will attend dance competitions, little league games, host birthday parties and play groups, go to swimming lessons, music lessons. We are committed to making family the number one priority in our lives. We will let our children know how they came into our lives, they will know how much their birth parents love them. You will always hold a special place in our home. As we have explained to our daughter that she was adopted, we have looked at several pictures of her family. Her birth parents, aunts, cousins, and grandparents (she doesnt have any birth uncles.) She knows that mommy's belly is broken and we had to find a very special mommy for her. We have explained to her how much R. loves her and she loves R. too.

Dave talking about Polli:

I love my wife…I am so proud to be able to say that and to share my life with Polli. She says that I have done so much for her. But I have a secret…it is Polli’s love for me that has made me who I am today. I never realized how loving someone could happen so effortlessly. She is such a wonderful wife, friend, and partner.
Polli is a stay at home mommy to our little angel girl. They have a lot of fun each day. They have outings to the the gym, the zoo, the park, wherever they can dream up. They stay busy all the time. Polli has worked as a teacher in preschool, elementary school and middle school science. She was a great teacher at the schools and I can see a lot of what she learned being used as she helps our daughter to grow and to learn. She is now running a playgroup to give Kaitlyn the opportunity to socialize with kids her age and learn to make friends.
Polli loves being outdoors. She would much rather go outside and work than stay inside and do anything. She loves to go snowmobiling. During the summer she loves to go in the boat, the pool, or be out in the water. She collects shells and digs in the sand. She loves to sit on the beach as the waves crash up and hit her. If she could combine mountains with the beach, I think she would be in heaven.

Polli talking about Dave Dave is very kind and compassionate. He is a great and loyal friend to others. Dave has a great sense of humor. Anyone who has spent any time with Dave has also spent time laughing at his jokes! He loves reading, going to the library, flying planes, having fun, and enjoying life to its fullest. I think his biggest pleasure in life is our little Kaitlyn. Every night as we put her to bed, he picks her up and sings to her. I love when she asks him to play with her toys each night. Dave spends hours pushing her babies in her strollers, laying in front of her dollhouse asking or answering her favorite play game of "What's your name?" It is so sweet to see the tender love he has to share with his best little buddy. Kaite cannot get enough of her daddy, nor can he get enough of her. Dave is active in church. He has served in several capacities within the church. He makes it a point to get our family to church each week and hold family scripture study and prayer each night. He loves to achieve new challenges and make others better. He loves serving families in our area and helping them achieve goals and gain a testimony of Jesus Christ. Dave enjoyed serving a church mission to Italy, where he learned to serve and love all kinds of people.
Dave is now working as a Law Enforcement Officer. He has always wanted to do a job he loved, and he is doing that today. Dave is holds his commercial pilot license and would like to combine his love for flying with his love for law enforcement by flying for the police department. He believes in being well rounded as an individual.

We love being parents to our little girl. We waited 10 years to get her and can't wait to add another addition to our family. You are an important part of making our family complete. Your child will always know of your deep love and sacrifice for him or her. We are a family whose faith encourages loving family relationships and becoming a better person, which we embrace and try to live by each day. We will support our children in any activities that they choose to participate in. Education is also very important and we will support our children in whatever they want to pursue. We feel it is important to provide children the opportunity to explore and discover their own talents and interests.

Life is an amazing journey and we all need each other! We are confident God will help guide you to make the best decision for you and your baby, and give you the peace and comfort you need. You are an amazing gift to our family and we have so much love for you already. We want your child to know about you and especially how much you love them. We are open to pictures, letters and e-mail so you may have comfort in knowing your child is loved, cherished and happy. We are so appreciative and thankful for the blessing of adoption and we hope to get to know you soon!
