Chad & Julie are hopeful adoptive parents from Colorado waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Hello and welcome. We want to thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We are Chad and Julie and would like to welcome you to our family. First and foremost, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We want to commend you on such a courageous and selfless decision for your child. We pray you will find peace and comfort in knowing your child will be loved unconditionally. This difficult decision is one of love - we have great admiration and respect for you. We will always hold a dear place for you in our hearts.

Our relationship has been incredible from the beginning. When Chad and I started dating he would send me cards, balloons and flowers for no reason. To this very day, he leaves me little notes or randomly sends flowers just because. After a year of dating, Chad proposed to me while atop the Eiffel Tower in Paris. For me, it was a dream come true. We had a large wedding with all of our friends and family; it was an amazing night that started off a marriage which gets stronger everyday. Now, we cannot wait for everyone to meet a new child.
After seven years of marriage, we are excited about adding a new child to our family. We have always talked of having a family since the first day we met, but we could not start one of our own and that has led us to seek an adoption plan. A few of our friends have adopted beautiful babies and they have been an inspiration and guide for us as we continue to build our family. In February 2007 we were blessed with the adoption of our son Chase. He is an amazing gift from a wonderful woman and we are thankful to have him in our lives.

Chad is a warm and caring gentleman with a large heart and kind soul. The first time he held Chase, it was amazing to watch him open his eyes and stare as Chad talked softly to him. Since then, they have become best buddies and they enjoy playing ball, running around the house and even snuggling on the sofa to watch a movie.

Chad enjoys golf, skiing, ATVs and sports. He often comments on being able to coach little league or teaching a new child to play golf. He has already taught Chase how to throw a ball and I can see the excitement in his eyes when we talk about a new child. However, if a child’s desires fall outside of Chad’s current interests then he will be the first to buy a book or pay for a lesson so he can learn a new activity to share with a child.

Julie is a very sensitive and caring person. She often times worries more about everyone else rather than her own self. She is loving, kind and caring for those in need. I am so lucky to have her as my wife – my very best friend.

Quite simply, Julie was born to be a mother. She has a true passion for life which made it easy to choose Nursing as her profession. Her career as a Neonatal Intensive Care
Nurse has given her the opportunity to demonstrate this passion for children in need of a warm heart. Although her job was very rewarding, she was excited about having the opportunity to be a “stay at home” mom. Watching Chase grow and learn every day is amazing and you can see her excitement about sharing these experiences with a new child. I know Julie will continue to be the mother she has always dreamt of being.

Chase is a loving little boy with an outgoing personality. He likes to play ball, go swimming and swing on the play set. When we are inside, he routinely likes to have us read books with him and play with his alphabet flash cards. He is such a sweet boy and he is especially good at showing his affection with family, friends and favorite movie characters. We know he will be a great big brother to a new sibling as he has plenty of love and hugs to give.
We live in a suburban neighborhood with many children and have a large park at the end of our street. We cannot wait to take a child for walks and Chase can teach him/ her to swing on the play set. Our community has one of the better school districts in our state and the school buildings are very new with state of the art classrooms. We belong to a club with pools, tennis courts and child activities.

Our families are excited about a new grandchild. Chad’s parents are fun, caring and outgoing people. They love to travel and see the world. Chad’s parents are involved with their Church and in their spare time they volunteer at a home for troubled teens. Chad’s sister, Pam, is married and has two little girls, 3 year old Sarah Mae and 1 year old Gracie. Now that they have grandchildren, they want more to love. Julie’s parents are fun, loving and energetic; they are truly excited about being grandparents again. They enjoy taking vacations and like to have us come along as it really is all about the family. They are thrilled and cannot wait to have a new grandchild to care for. Julie’s brother, John, is a Pediatrician and is excited about the chance to be an uncle again. For the ouches we cannot fix, we know Uncle John is always there with a caring hand.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and we look forward to hearing from you. We think about meeting you and getting the opportunity to know each other. We commend you for making the choice to pursue an adoption plan for your child and for being so courageous. We promise to tell your child about his/her birthmother and her gift of love by choosing an adoption plan. We want you to know that your child will be welcomed into our family with open arms, unconditional love, honesty and support.

May God bless you.
