Robert & Susan are hopeful adoptive parents from New Jersey waiting to adopt a baby.

Dear Birthmother Hi, we are Susan and Bob.
We believe that an adopted child is a special gift to all involved. This includes the child, the family that adopts them, and the birthmother who wants her child to be well cared for and given the things she isn’t able to at the time. We admire you for the selfless act of courage by placing the child for adoption.

Adoption isn’t new to us. Both our brothers have adopted their children. We have seen the joy these children have brought them and how happy and well adjusted their children are. Our family members have been very supportive and encouraging in our quest to adopt a child.

Bob and I are happily married and would love to have a family. After years of trying to conceive with the help of a fertility specialist, acupuncture and other natural treatments we realized that our child was probably not going to be our own biological child.

Both our brothers with their wives have adopted their children. We couldn’t love these children more. We enjoy doing family activities and get such pleasure from seeing the world though our nieces and nephews eyes.

We would love to have a child of our own to raise and share our life experiences. We are well established in our careers and social activities. We both love the outdoors and enjoy skiing, hiking, going to the shore in the summer, and generally exploring new places and things.

We have a lot to offer a child and we know that a child has a lot to offer us. We look forward to becoming parents. We feel adopting a child would be extra special as it would be providing a second chance for both us and the child.

About Us Bob was raised in the suburbs of San Diego, California, in a family of five. He grew up surfing and enjoying the beautiful California climate. Today he is still enjoys outdoor activities and is passionate about skiing. We go most weekends in the winter and have formed many friends with similar interest. In fact, Bob was a ski instructor for several years. Many of our friends ski and now have young kids who they bring to the mountains. We see how proud they are that their kids ski great by the time they are 4 and 5 years of age. Bob would cherish the days his child got on skis and mastered the sport. It is probably one of, if not the best family participations on the planet.

Bob would be a kind, caring and patient father.

Susan was raised in the country and loves the outdoors. Even though we live in NJ, we can’t wait to get to our weekend home in the Pocono’s to hike, enjoy the trees, fresh air and a simpler lifestyle. She worked for the Boy Scouts for 10 years and loved it. It combined all my interest of working with people, the out doors and doing a social good.

Susan is very close to her family and enjoys spending time with them. She adores her niece who was adopted. She is very close to both her mother and father. She sees them as much as possible.

How we met I met Bob on Long Beach Island, on the New Jersey shore. I spent my summer weekends in LBI with a group of friends for many years. I liked Bob the minute I met him. He had a very kind and gentle way about him.

I met Susan at the Jersey Shore I was immediately attracted to her beauty and her personality. The personality of which, I thought complemented my more subdued nature. We became friends, and then later on after spending so much time together realized we were meant for each other. Besides her outward attractiveness, infectious sense of humor, and charm, I was (and still am) attracted to her inner beauty, passion for life and compassion for others.
