Dear Birth Mother, We are honored that you have chosen to read our profile. We can’t imagine the emotions that you may be feeling during this time and have the utmost respect for the decision that you are making. After much thought and prayer, we feel that this is the path that God has led us to. We can’t wait to be a mom and dad to that special child God has planned for us.

Soon after meeting and starting to date, it wasn’t long before we both knew that it was meant to be. We married exactly one year after our first date. We have a great time together and look forward to experiencing the joys of raising a child.

Jim works in agriculture and has been with the company for over 18 years. He enjoys his job and the opportunity to work with different people while assisting them with their conservation needs. Lana works in the health field assisting different communities with their health needs. She likes her job but is ready to be a mom.

Both of our parents live in the country close by and we see them often. They are very excited about becoming grandparents, especially Lana’s since it will be their first grandchild. We also have nieces and nephews who are ready for a cousin to play with. Going to the farm to see Grandma and Grandpa will be a must with all the animals and exciting things to see and do…cattle, horses, dogs and cats to name a few.

Having both grown up in this small town, we have many long time friends and neighbors who care about us. We both left this community to go to college and begin our careers. We have lived other places, but feel that this is truly home. We can not think of a better place to raise our family. It is a very loving and supportive environment where people help take care of each other. We are also involved in many of our church’s activities and our church family is very important to us. Even though our town is small and may not have all the amenities of urban living, we find enjoyment in the truly important things life offers.

We hope this book gives you some insight as to who we are and helps you get to know us better.
We want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to share with you a little bit about ourselves. We look forward to getting to know you better and answering any questions you may have. If your heart leads you to us, take comfort in knowing that we will love and care for your baby unconditionally.
