Daven & Krista are hopeful adoptive parents from Arizona waiting to adopt a baby.

Dear Friends,

We have no idea what it would be like to make your kind of decision and we truly appreciate all that you would be doing for us. We have wanted to become an eternal family our whole lives and we haven’t been blessed with that opportunity. That is what we desire most in our lives, a child to love and be with for eternity.
We have watched others around us have children and have yearned for that blessing to happen to us. Throughout all of the things we have learned about adoption, the one thing that has struck us the most is that the birth parents get to choose who they want their child to go to. We feel that it will benefit them as well as us the prospective adoptive parents.

We can't wait for spring and summer because then we can be outside playing. We love to camp, fish. Daven likes to hunt and enjoys being with his friends in the outdoors. He also plans yearly trips to Moab to go mountain biking. Krista sometimes joins him on these trips, but she usually hikes or window shops. We go on a lot of family activities on both sides of the family and already have several activities planned for this summer. It's going to be full.

About Daven Daven is such a fun-loving person. He loves to be the life of the party. When we walk into a room everyone smiles because they know he will bring one to their face. He has finished his associates in drafting and I’ve seen a whole new person evolving into something better. He loves to draw and create originality in the house plans that he does. He has an eye for the unique and unusual things. I love to be with him more than anyone. When big problems come along he takes things so laid back and his patience is unbelievable. He has to always be using his hands. While the homes he builds are something to be noticed he also can create beautiful furniture. His skills still surprise me. He can do almost anything.

He considers work a hobby because his mother told him to stick to what he is good at.

About Krista Krista enjoys playing the piano and has set a goal to learn to play the guitar. She enjoys reading and keeps her library card handy for that sudden stop at the library to get another book. She has dreamed of being a stay-at-home mother. As a little girl she would care for her babies as if they were real. She was born a babysitter. She’s the oldest girl of six so she has had to take care of those younger than her all of her life. She watches the children everywhere she goes and they bring a sparkle to her eye.
Krista loves scrapbooking and being crafty. She sets aside one day a week to do scrapbooking or some kind of craft.
She also has a very small green thumb. She has tried and most of the time failed at trying to grow flowers and a garden. But she enjoys it and continues to try every spring.
