Kelly & Erin are hopeful adoptive parents from Utah waiting to adopt a baby.

DEAR BIRTH PARENTS Dear Birth Parents,
We would like to thank you for taking the time to review our file. We would also like to thank you for having the courage to consider adoption. We respect you and admire you for such a courageous decision. We know that this is an extremely hard choice and that many worries are weighing upon you heavily. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you that you might find peace and comfort in the decisions you are making. It is difficult to find the words to say in a letter such as this, but our hope is that we can tell you about ourselves and someday soon we will be able to meet and learn all about you.

ABOUT US We went to High School together. We were hardly high school sweethearts. Erin was a cheerleader and active in school. Kelly had kind of the bad boy image (even though he was just a softy at heart.) We actually started dating after high school while we were attending college. We definitely know about the term “opposites attract.” It really just happened one day. We just saw each other in a different way. We dated seriously for about 7 months, got married, and have loved every minute of our marriage. We have been blessed throughout our 14 years of marriage with 4 very active, fun-loving boys. We enjoy watching them grow, play, and learn everyday. We are both from large families and enjoy spending time with them. In both families combined, there are 32 nieces and nephews, 2 grandmas, 2 grandpas, uncles, and aunts. We even have 1great-grandma. We always hoped that someday we would be blessed with a daughter. We feel that through adoption, our dreams of welcoming a daughter into our family will finally come true.


About ERIN in Kelly’s words

Erin is everything I could ever dream of. I am so happy she chose me to be her husband. She is a very nurturing, loving mother and wife. She strives to do her best in all areas of her life. Erin has high hopes for our family and our children. She loves children and does everything in her power to help our children succeed. Erin has a degree as an Elementary Education teacher. She worked in that position for several years until we were at a position for her to stay at home. Erin loves to be at home with our children and finds joy in focusing her time on our family. Erin is able to do all of things she had hoped to do as a mother and wife. She volunteers at our children’s school, helps with my business, plays with our children, but most of all gets to be with our children to watch them grow and develop every step of the way. Erin enjoys all different kinds of activities. She loves to exercise, decorate the house, play the piano, bake cookies (especially chocolate chip), and shopping. Erin loves to brighten someone’s day. She has a sense of people and their needs. When you least expect it, she will have a batch of cookies, a special note, or just a hug to let you know that she loves you! Erin is the love of my life and I am blessed to be in her world.

About KELLY in Erin’s words

Kelly is the best husband ever and I love him more than he will ever know. He is also the most terrific father which means more to me than any other thing in the world. Kelly is relaxed, fun, and energetic. He is always upbeat and positive about everything in his life. Kelly grew up on a farm and has a strong work ethic. He owns his own business and works hard at making it a great success. He loves to educate himself and does so by reading, research, taking classes, and involving himself in opportunities to learn and grow. He has given me the best gift I could have ever asked for. He has made it possible for me to be a stay-at-home mom. Even as busy as he is, I am always amazed at the energy he has to keep on giving and giving. By owning his own successful business, he is able to arrange his schedule in order to attend all of the boy’s sporting events, school events, and family events. Spending time together as a family is his #1 priority. Some of the other things he loves to do is ride four-wheelers, go camping, play and watch baseball, go to the movies, and traveling. I love him and our children love him. I am definitely lucky to have Kelly as my husband!

OUR FAMILY STEFAN

Stefan, 13 years old, is our oldest son and a very big helper. He loves to ride his bike and his four-wheeler. He loves to spend time with his dad. He enjoys playing baseball, especially when he is the pitcher. Stefan is so excited to be a big brother again. He wants to know all about the details of the sweet baby girl.

MORGAN

Morgan, 11 years old, is our comedian. He comes up with funny sayings or hilarious dance moves on the spur of the moment. He loves to ride bikes and is always looking for a way to alter the bike ramp in order to jump higher. Morgan can’t wait to have a baby sister in our family.

CHANDLER

Chandler, 7 years old, is the collector and organizer in the family. He loves to help Erin around the house (especially if he knows he can earn a little extra money.) He loves to ride his bike and heelees. He loves to go to school and play with his friends. He is very excited to have a baby sister to help with.

CORBIN

Corbin, 5 years old, is the energizer bunny. He just keeps going, and going, and going. We are definitely amazed at his creative ways to make life interesting. He especially loves to play with mud. Corbin is a fun-loving, active, happy boy. Corbin loves his preschool and his teachers. He loves show-and-tell at school. Corbin asks me everyday when a baby can come to our home.

WITH LOVE We would like to thank you again for taking the time to review our file. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult decision. Your consideration for adoption is a true act of nobility and a selfless act of love. We believe that families are little miracles from heaven. We feel that our miracle will be complete through love and courage. Each child is a true gift from God and we will always treat a child as such. We hope to give this sweet baby every opportunity to develop talents, pursue goals, and achieve dreams.
