William & Eve are hopeful adoptive parents from New York waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Congratulations!
We've Adopted a Boy.
What makes us special?
That is what we have been asking ourselves. What will make a birthmother decide to choose us? The fact is, as we looked through these profiles ourselves, everyone seems like wonderful potential parents, all loving and stable. It makes us understand how overwhelming the decision you have to make is. How can you be sure?
We can tell you that we are very loving and caring parents.
We have a very strong marriage. We met eachother in medical school about 15 years ago and have been married for almost 13 years now. We are deeply devoted to one another. We went through the painful trials and tribulations of infertility for several years. After adopting our daughter, Zoe, it was hard to imagine why went through all we did in trying to conceive. There is absolutely nothing we wouldn't do for Zoe and we would feel the same about any child that we were blessed to be entrusted with. We are both
Pediatricians who love children. You can be sure that the health and safety of your baby will always be our first priority.
We have a very warm and loving home. We live in a cozy victorian in the northeast with waterviews, surrounded by parks, beaches, and nature. We have a large backyard complete with swingset. It is a truly an idylic setting to grow up in. Our community has a very small town feel even though we live just 1 hour from New York City. It is a quaint town which is also very child friendly and family oriented. We love strolling down Main Street together, taking Zoe to the playground, driving into the city for the day, or in the summer months collecting seashells and building sandcastles at one of our local beaches.
Our favorite times, however, are probably those spent lounging around together at home, snuggling by the fireplace, baking cookies or playing in the backyard. We are lucky to have jobs we love that give us the flexibility to spend a great deal of time together as a family. Eve works part-time and has always been able to arrange her schedule around Zoe's. Will works in the children's emergency department at a local hospital and has the luxury of working just 3 evening shifts weekly. Each year, we take several family vacations with close friends and their children, and with Zoe's cousins and grandparents whom she is very close to. We have been blessed with some dear friends and a wonderful, supportive family who are always there for us through life's challenges, big and small.
Our Family
Will has been more involved with Zoe's parenting and has been able to spend more time with his child than any father we know. From diaper changes to nightime feedings to getting Zoe ready for school and hosting playdates, Will is just an amazing father. Will is also very kind and sweet. He is a man of integrity and always tries to do the right thing, and he teaches Zoe to do the same. He has a great sense of humor, which Zoe has also inherited. Will loves to ski, rollerblade, and play ice hockey. He taught Zoe to ice skate this year and takes her skating every week. They love to ride their bikes together, go to the movies, and go fishing. They make up silly games together and have secret handshakes. Zoe loves her daddy.

Eve has dreamed of being a mother her whole life. This is obvious when you see her and Zoe together. Eve is very sweet, nurturing and loving. She enjoys cooking and baking, and Zoe likes to be involved in any egg-cracking and mixing going on in the kitchen. They enjoy singing songs and dancing together, having picnics in the backyard and working on arts and crafts. Eve organizes Zoe's preschool schedule, after school activities and playdates. Every night Eve tucks Zoe into bed, reads her books, and sings her their special lullaby. Zoe is completely captivated with her mom and although Eve tells her she can be anything she wants when she grows up, Zoe insists that she wants to be a baby doctor, just like mommy.
Zoe is a very energetic little girl who loves to play every minute of every day. Anything that involves running will usualy appeal to Zoe. She is the kind of girl who on the one hand, loves to wear pretty dresses and play with her dolls, but on the other hand will run around in that pretty dress, getting all dirty, trying to catch butterflies and play hide-and-seek. She loves school. We happen to live in one of the top school districts in the country and we plan to provide a college education for our children. In fact, we already have a considerable college fund set up for Zoe and her furture siblings. Zoe also takes weekly classes in swimming, gymnastics, and ballet. She is sweet and loving as well. Her teachers always comment how caring she is when another child is sad or hurt. She absolutely loves babies and has been longing to be a big sister. Zoe is an extremely happy child.
Our Promise to You
As parents and pediatricians, we can promise you that we will provide for the health, safety, security, nurturing and love of your baby throughout childhood and their lives. We wish you strength and peace in the difficult decisions you are making. We have great respect for your decision to consider adoption for your baby. We see Zoe's birth mother as an angel who blessed us with a child. She made us believe in miracles. We hope that once again, our prayers will be answered.
Love,
Will, Eve, and Zoe
