Kevin & Gina are hopeful adoptive parents from Wisconsin waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

HELLO! We’re Kevin and Gina and we want to thank you for taking the time to get to know us.  We want you to know that we admire you tremendously.  We believe the decision you are choosing is out of love and selflessness. You might be wondering how we got here. We were married in 2003 and decided we wanted to start a family shortly after that.  After finding out we couldn’t get pregnant on our own we tried fertility treatments that were unsuccessful.  We then asked ourselves, “Do we want to get pregnant or be parents?”  We always had a special place in our hearts for adoption since Gina was adopted. All of our heartache disappeared when we met our son Andon in 2007.  Our adoption was such a wonderful experience that we decided to give it another try. We had a huge support system from our friends and family which made the process so much easier.  We have so much more love and memories just waiting to be shared with another child. We want our children to grow up being happy, caring, courteous and confident people. We hope to give them many happy memories and a strong family bond.  He or she will know from the beginning how they became a member of our family and that this is truly a story of love and courage.
ABOUT US We started our life together in 2001 and have had a fun and solid relationship since.  We are very close, affectionate and love to spend time as a family.  Our marriage is based on love, honesty, friendship and silliness.  Kevin works in construction for a city near by.  He’s an equipment operator and is also a very handy guy. His hobbies include: fishing, hunting, spending time with friends and family.  Gina works from home as a medical underwriter. Hobbies include: scrap booking, baking, cooking, swimming and hanging out with friends and family. In September of 2007 we met our son Andon, his birthmom and grandma. It was the most amazing day.  Later that night we received a phone call that she choose us to be his adoptive family. I don’t think we sat down that night from all the excitement.  Once we looked at those big blue eyes and chubby cheeks we knew our heart was stolen and it was so magical.  He has changed our lives in so many wonderful ways. We’ve always been a fun loving goofy couple but he sure brings more smiles to our face then we ever imagined. To see how much our family loved and accepted him from day one also melted our hearts. It felt so great to know our son is so loved. He brings joy to so many people.  It would be an honor to be able to give him the treasure of having a brother or sister. Kevin grew up with his sister Keri and Gina grew up with her brother Vince. We both know what a fun experience it is to grow up with a sibling. We enjoy spending time together as a family. Some of the things we enjoy doing together are: going to the park, family dinners, swimming at grandmas, walking the dogs, going to the zoo, dressing up silly, playing games, sledding, four wheeler rides in the yard, singing, dancing and just anything that involves spending time together. Andon really enjoys to help mom cook. One of  his favorite things is to lick the bowl and be the taste tester. Some of the things he enjoys doing with his grandparents, aunts/uncles and cousins are: camping, gardening, making forts, going to the park, reading books and getting loved up. We live in our home on about a acre of land.  Our house is a 3 bedroom ranch style home. We have a play area with a sandbox, slide and house for kids to play. Next summer Kevin plans on building a jungle gym since Andon is growing up so fast. The grade school is a few blocks from our home.  We do have two dogs Curly and Reno and a kitty named Shelby.
GINA ABOUT KEVIN My best friend Kevin is amazing both inside and out. His sense of humor is what attracted me to him right away.  He always has a smile on his face and knows how to light up a room.  He is such a kid at heart and is full of life.  He is truly a down to earth genuine person and can make you laugh in a heartbeat.  I still get butterflies from him.  The love he has for his family and friends is something I treasure.  He was raised by his parents Jack and Char who have been married for 39 years.  He grew up with a younger sister Keri that we are close with.  They grew up in a loving, caring and compassionate home.  His parents live 10 minutes away so we see them often. His mom helps us out with babysitting when we are working. The day we met Andon I fell in love with Kevin even deeper.  He has always been great with kids but is an even more amazing father.  Words can’t explain the wonderful feelings I have when I see him with our son.  He is such a goofy, fun loving, warm, gentle, patient and understandable person. Andon attached to him the day we brought him home. He enjoys spending time with his family and we love spending time with him.  We are so blessed to have him in our lives.
KEVIN ABOUT GINA

When I was told I would have to write about my wife, I though it would be no problem. I was wrong.  I had no idea where to start since she has so many good qualities. First of all, I couldn’t imagine anyone more dedicated to being a mother.  I see the way she is with our son Andon and she is definitely a natural.  She has patience and such a calm personality especially during trying times.  I also can’t believe how much she thinks of other people.  She is always putting the needs of others first.  I almost feel guilty how much she does for everyone including myself.  I sometimes have to tell her to relax and take time for herself.  That is when her unbelievably funny side shines through.  Her humor is what attracted me to her  She loves to embarrass me with dancing in public like John Travolta in Staying Alive, but there is no one else I rather be with. I would have to believe she got most of her qualities from her parents, Russ and Darlene.  The second time we met we started talking about our families and that’s when I realized how much we have in common with each other.  Both of our parents are still married. Gina’s parents have been married for 41 years and mine have been for 39.  Our families strong bonds have given us strong family values.

THANK YOU! It means so much that we were able to share this with you.  If you choose us ,we want you to know that every time we gaze into they eyes of our child, we will see a part of you looking back at us  Their smile, beautiful eyes, and sweet hand will always be a reminder of how much  you mean to us. We wish you luck and support in whatever decision you make.
